Made by HiSense in their Mexico factory. I believe it's the factory they bought from Sharp in 2015. The TV came in with good packaging. I updated the TV. There were multiple updates. I don't see any bugs as mentioned in other BestBuy reviews, may be they rectified in one of the updates. TV has a great display. I don't play games, so I am not worried about it's lack of HDMI 2.1 (For supporting 120 Hz). The Netflix and other streaming apps that has 120Hz video playback is very good on this TV. I upgraded from HiSense 55" 6510(60Hz TV), which I bought in 2020 BF for $200. The motion picture in this Toshiba are more real like. I don't feel much difference in still pictures with my old TV. Sound is good without needing a sound bar.

Got this at a great price so the problems that came with it aren’t as major. But if I was paying full price, this would have gone down a star. The tv comes with old/bad software and needs to get updated before it can move past the setup screen (pairing remote, tap home to pair). But the only way to do this is to plug it into an eithernet cord and wait while it updates in the background. It give no notice that it’s updating, it just suddenly works when complete. I have a gigabit service and it took about 20 min. So the file might be really large or the download is slow on their side. But it almost made me return the tv. Moral of the story, have eithernet available, be patient and hopefully it will work.

So far I am happy with the quality of the image. Would have given it five stars but sometimes the TV does not power on right away. The only way it will is if I disconnect the power cord. I will be calling geek squad and having them look at it if this continues. It can be really frustrating

I upgraded from a 55 inch to this 65 inch and it was a great choice. This tv has good resolution for a 65 inch screen and it was not expensive.; and with the built in Alexa feature makes it very convenient; I really like it!!

I seem to get a bug where there is sound but no picture, happens alot when switching sources and the only way to fix it is to restart the system, i don't know if i got a crappy unit or what but this what i experienced. Picture is good, motion rate 480 makes it better, i can't seem to get 120hz, i tried multiple hdmi cables and connected it to my pc, changed resolution and still 60hz even at 1080p. Sound is pretty good, speakers are loud and crisp. Pretty decent tv overall considering the price.

There is one flaw with Toshiba's Fire TV's, they're slow with the menus. But I don't mind. Picture is great but the thing I like is they're thicker than most flat screens and that means one thing, better speakers. These TV's don't need soundbars or audio systems. They're plenty loud. Every flat screen that tries to get paper thin has audio paper thin. Love these TV's

This was my favorite TV and unfortunately it broke on my move and I have been missing it ever since. I loved the built in Alexa since I do not have any Alexa gadgets it was nice it already came with it installed. The picture was amazing for the price as well as the sound quality. I will be buying another one in the future as well as a warranty on it so, I dont have to deal with low quality picture again.

First impressions - Run all the updates, even if you think it's fully updated, check again. I had the issue switching inputs from hdmi to antenna where there was no video, only sound. Another update fixed that I think. Screen quality is quite good. Alexa built in is a nice touch. OTA TV stations come in clear and good quality. 4k playback on YouTube looks awesome. Minor annoyances are when powered on, you need a wait a few seconds to get the FireTV interface loaded. Sound quality is OK for a TV but don't expect to be wowed. This is a rebranded Hisense TV so lol @ $1000

Great picture. Deep blacks and vivid bright colors. Serious sound system. The apps and alexa are working good so far. I did have an issue with no picture but sound playing, when trying to watch Netflix, and on CBS only, the commercials have no sound. I don't know if that's the TV or the cable. Also on CBS only, the sound only plays on my right channel, smh..

We currently have a Samsung Qn85A which cost more than 3 times as much as the Toshiba 65m550. I didn't expect the fantastic picture quality..bright with great contrast and black levels (after adjustments). The only annoying defect is that each time you power on the tv it will default to the "soap opera" effect in the motion adjustment..so each time we power it on I immediately go to motion adjustment and toggle it to on and back to off and all is good until you power it off and on again..I think this will eventually be fixed with a firmware update..but it's a minor inconvenience. This is our bedroom tv but would also make a great main living room TV..it's that great! I'm elated that we purchased it while it's at introductory/ sales price.

This is a really good tv. Picture quality is really good. Has Dolby Vision which is better than just regular HD. I can't give review on sound quality of speakers cause I never buy a tv for sound only picture quality and Features. I am never satisfied with sound quality of speakers on any tv and prefer to use sound bar instead. So the first thing I do with new TVs is disable tv speakers and connect sound bar but picture quality is amazing for the price and hands free Alexa fire tv is a great bonus. Just know that if you are gonna use tv as main Alexa with sound bar then you have to connect sound via optical and not HDMI and disable auto shutoff/standby (or whatever the feature is called on your sound bar) so that you can hear Alexa when you ask her something when tv is off. Cause sound bar needs to be on 2/7 so that you can hear Alexa when you ask her something when tv is off and HDMI port turns off when tv is off. Only optical stays on for signal to sound bar when tv is off.

Great TV for the price but keep in mind that HDMI ports are not 120hz if you have Xbox or PS5 this won’t support 120hz not sure what the 120hz is for in this TV but I didn’t care about that . I just watch Netflix for that you don’t need 120hz to watch movies.

Great TV features for the price. Fire TV is a much user friendly smart platform compared to Samsung and Vizio. The only con is oddly you're not able to delete downloaded videos, need to use a 3rd part app to which I recommend Xplore. Considering the specs I expected a better picture, has a bit of a fog in some movies. Sound is awesome above level 20, below that sounds over powers voice.

Great for the price. Not as sharp and rich as the new TVs coming out but definitely got a lot of bang for my buck. Just got it for the family room and does everything advertised. Also got the echo included. If you need a nice basic 65” TV for the right price, look no further. The Alexa feature is cool but be ready to get interruptions if there’s a lot of background noise so I don’t really use it. It’s just a nice party trick for your friends.

It has a 120hert refresh rate display (120fps)… u just can’t use it through hdmi… instead it’s locked to 60fps, highly disappointed in that fact and I truly wish it was better conveyed. The sound is good the picture is good as well, but the inability to use the 120fps display you payed for its kinda upsetting to say the least

Purchased this television on a whim given that it was about 50% off and am incredibly impressed with its features, functionality, and picture quality. I use this television with an Apple TV and it supports 4K and HDR for incredible picture quality. The television is a smart Fire TV that also incorporates numerous apps. One frustration, however, is that it does not appear to have a Spectrum app available, so I am still tethered to my Apple TV (which is okay because I can turn the TV on and off through my Apple TV). The TV is also AirPlay compatible, which is pretty slick. One minor oddity is that there does not appear to be a setting for turning off the red light that comes on when the microphone is disabled. (I had to cover it with some electrical tape.) Overall, though, I am very happy with the purchase. Great picture quality and works well with my Apple TV, which is really all I care about.
