    Great TV. Really great picture, easy to use. I was concerned about figuring out Fire TV App but its been easy. We use Sling and have all the shows we need. No cable bill:) We bought three of these TVs for our house because the price was right.

    Great TV for the price, huge fan of its responsiveness. Only thing I dislike while I am gaming, is it constantly blacks out the screen and "switches to game mode" in the middle of games when text in game comes on the screen. Can get extremely annoying and cause issues in game while you can't see. Can't find anyway to change this in options and it happens with almost every game. When you're on the Xbox dashboard and start up a game, it "switches to game mode". And then instead of staying in it, decides eventually that you're not in the game anymore and then switches into it again, and again, and again. Only on games like Skyrim, Starfield, and menu heavy games. In FPS games, doesn't ever seem to be an issue. Otherwise great quality and very good for gaming.

    Once it updated a few times, I am impressed with the picture and sound. Wasn't used to 4K and needed to move my modem closer to optimize the signal. Had the screen freeze a couple of times but I am writing that off as an updating glitch. Not sure about the 120hz and how to be sure my settings are correct but its a great TV overall.

    Great tv. Picture is perfect, brightness is just right and the colors are great. The Geek Squad put everything together for us and explained how to use the new remote and we are enjoying it all.

    Best Hockey and Football TV that I have owned. This tv is 120hz and you never ever see shadows with quick action. Great for movies too! Sound quality is fantastic!

    Really want to like this tv. Hoping there will be software updates soon to fix problems. First, when the input source is changed, then put back to “TV” mode there is sound but no picture, only black screen. The TV has to be restarted to watch tv, whether it is “antenna” or fire tv. Next, the tv seems to have the motion processing setting as “smooth” by default. When you change or turn off this setting it won’t keep the setting. It reverts back to “smooth” but shows whatever the last setting was. You have to go to settings, change back to “smooth”, then back to where you want it, constantly. These issues are very frustrating. PLEASE TOSHIBA, GIVE US AN UPDATE TO FIX THESE ISSUES. If these issues were fixed I would give it 5 stars and recommend it.

    Love everything about the tv except when we turn it off now 9 times put of 10 i have to unplug tv and cable box to reset it. This was one of thr negative reviews i read before buying.

    As others have mentioned, my TV also randomly stopped turning on after about a month of owning the set. About half the time the TV just won't power on using either the remote or the power button on the set (or my cable box remote which is programmed to turn on this TV). I have to unplug the power cable from the TV (mine is wall mounted so it's difficult to reach the outlet behind the TV) and wait a minute and then plug it back in. Seems to work but having to do this many times a day is a pain in the you know what. Other than that, the picture seems good and sharp with a 4K source (this is my first 4K TV so I can't make a comparison with other 4K TVs). But not so great with a 720p source from my cable box. The sound seems acceptable. The Fire TV OS seems to run OK. This is my first smart TV so I have nothing to compare it to. I don't play games so I can't comment on gaming performance. If there wasn't this power issue, I'd be satisfied with this TV for the price I paid. Hopefully, Toshiba will fix this power problem soon. If it really is a software issue, Toshiba needs to work with Amazon to fix it. But it could also be a power component hardware issue. Lastly, still don't understand why there's not a full User Manual for this model TV available but only an inadequate Quick Setup Guide.

    I love everything about this TV. The picture controls are nuanced and complete and very easy to operate. Fire TV is still my favorite app interface. You have the ability to download apps from multiple sources without any issues at all. I would however recommend a sound bar or surround sound system.

    Picture is great, sound is surprisingly really good and it dwarfs our simple sound bar. They do work together and the TV controls both so that's cool. The software/processor itself is sluggish - menus lag and do take some time to render and sort through, but its a budget TV and the picture is what matters. No complaints.

    M550 Won't Power On until Power Cord pulled

    Purchased July 2022. Setup was easy Problems Starting In Late July TV won't power on unless Power cord is removed from outlet and then reconnected. We've tried the pull power cord, wait 1 minute before plugging in again. We've also tried with power cord unplugged holding the TV power button on and then plugging it back again. TV powers up, but have to do every time. Also confirmed TV at current update. Settings > Device Preferences > About > System update > Check for update. Called Toshiba and advised on the steps we've tried above. Still waiting on Toshiba to call back to schedule when a Tech. can come fix TV. This was several days ago I see other reports on this, so hoping there is a good fix and/or Toshiba needs to get Quality Control involved

    This is by far the worst TV I have ever owned. I already mounted to my wall, or I would return it! I got it on sale for $500, but I still feel that is way too much. First of ALL the apps constantly give and error that I have to be logged on to my Amazon account (Even though I am!). So at that point you have the reboot the TV. Amazon was NO help. Then I noticed that Alexa would stop working, and shortly after that the remote would too. I then have to literally unplug the TV. Happens 2 or 3 times a week. There is also a black line in the middle of the screen at times. The Amazon/Alexa software is extremely buggy. So after spending all this money on a “Smart” TV, I had to buy a Google TV Chromecast. After buying the Chromecast the TV is fine. The remote still stops working 2 times a week. However the Chromecast streamer works way better than Alexa/Amazon. Do not buy a Amazon TV. Buy one that has Google or Roku instead.
