Good tv with not-so-easy setup

The setup is awkward and cumbersome with no clear instructions on where to go and how to find an obscure Amazon app that will pop up and give you a message until you finally find it deep under a rock in cyberspace.

Soap Opera Effect and Alexa Not Working Properly

This setting can be turned off in the picture settings, but when the set is turned back on (after powering down), the problem crops up again. It shows that the motion process is off, but in order for the picture to show properly, the setting has to be toggled. It is confusing as it sounds. I did not feel like doing this picture setting "dance" daily. Also, Alexa stopped working and also has to be toggled a few times. One more thing, the sound does not sync properly when wearing bluetooth headphones. I am returning this set and buying another 75 inch, but not Toshiba.

Great by itself or with simple soundbar

I am having issues with the ARC connection and our Dennon AVR. Ended up having to use a standalone fire stick plugged into the AVR to get a consistent sound. Seems fine with a soundbar but any sort of surround sound system was a pain.

Great TV for the price

Not having 120hz isn’t that big of a deal for me when I’m gaming. I play fifa online on my PS5 at 60hz with no problems at all. I use the Amazon Fire OS integration so being able to go from one room in my house to the other while watching tv is seamless. I enjoy the Dolby Vision HDR & HDR10+ while watching my favorite shows on various streaming apps. Overall Im very happy with my purchase, if youre into watching high quality tv shows and movies I would make this purchase.

The only thing it’s missing is HDMI 2.1 to enable 4k 120hz gaming. But you can’t beat the price for what it does have: 4k, HDR, full array LED
