I got this TV when my roommate moved out and took his similarly priced TCL Roku 75" TV with him. This one has a slightly better display, but be sure to tweak the settings when you get it, because the settings out of the box aren't great (there are even articles on the web about best settings). My only complaint is that the menu can be a bit slow sometimes, but overall, this is a great TV!

My Prime Video app is very dark compared to other streaming apps that I use. It does not play on 4K because it says my internet connection is not fast enough. I thought it was my internet causing my television to periodically freeze and slow down while streaming movies or playing video games online. But after reading other reviews I see it's the TV.

I like this tv when it works. It's big, generally looks good, was on sale, and has 4 hdmi inputs (why is that so hard to find?) But it has so many inexplicable problems. -Switching inputs is a little annoying - why not have an input button like most tvs? -It constantly pops up alexa tips, even though I allegedly have that off in the settings. -Maybe not a tv problem, but it seems that some apps have little/no support on the platform - plex and youtube are both much buggier than I've encountered on any other platform. -When you start it up, sometimes it will be in the last app you used and sometimes it will be on the home screen. There doesn't seem to be any rule for which way it will go. -If you pause something for more than a few minutes (to make dinner, to help the kids with something, whatever) you'll come back to find the tv has turned off. As above, maybe it will come right back to the app you were using, but probably you will need to navigate through everything to restart that. It looks like there's a setting for this, but it has no effect. -Every so often, after using it for awhile, it will lock itself in an app (none of the exit options will take you home) or it will blank most of the home screen, probably making it unusable. The only way I've found to fix this is to unplug it - turning it off and on again hasn't fixed it. -A new one I discovered today: after casting a video to the tv, when the video ends, it will jump to a random app. One time it went into the Disney+ app, which I haven't used in a few days. The other time, it went to the Netflix install screen. I don't even have Netflix installed, but it tried to run it. I can watch for hours without having any problems, and it's pretty nice at those times. But I've encountered all of these problems multiple times in the less than a month I've owned the tv. I assume I can avoid most of these problems by streaming something through the tv (from a Roku or game device) but that's an extra step I shouldn't have to go through when I have what is claimed to be a smart tv. I'm not sure if these are Toshiba problems or Fire TV problems. To be safe, I definitely won't buy either type of tv ever again.

Have owned Toshiba televisions for years and never had a single issue. Great picture quality.

Beautiful picture and good sound quality. Fire TV got all the best apps and the Alexa voice control works like a charm.
