Excellent hard disk. Portable light weight.good speed

Easy to use, compact size to carry on, good quality.

I bought this product to back up a laptop I've had for about 6yrs. It was very easy to set up. I started my backup and left it. When I returned a couple of hours later, it had completely backed up the entire hard drive. Now I don't have to worry about my antique computer crashing and losing years of pictures and files.

I was surprised at how small it is. My previous external hard drive is 5x bigger. Easy to use. No concerns

I purchased this portable HDD in order to have external backup of my pictures from my Digital SLR. The small form factor of this 1TB HDD is impressive and the fact that it is USB 3.0 allows the backups to happen quickly. I am very pleased with this unit and will probably buy another one once this drive is full.

This is a great product. Especially if you need more space on your computer. Easy to install and use.

This Toshiba hard drive was easy to install and backed up my files perfectly. As this was my first external hard drive to purchase and install, I called Toshiba's customer care to verify I did it right. Outstanding service by the agent who checked and verified its operation. Excellent product and support.

Product was priced well and is easy to use. The real test will be when I need to use it to load my files into my new computer. I would recommend everyone have at least one backup for their computer because you rarely get a warning before it crashes. The only drawback of this item seems to be it does not auto-update your files, so if you make changes you want to keep, you have to manually upload the new files. Otherwise its seems to d the job.

A very nice compact and easy to use portable external hard drive.

If you have a lot of pictures, music, movies, or files on your computer than backing them all up onto this external hard drive is a great idea. The upload speed is fast. The price is right on for the size. I was very happy with this purchase that I bought two of them. One for me and one for my girlfriend.

The Toshiba Canvio Connect II 1TB USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive was very easy to setup and get started. Its small size makes it perfect for school use. It was recommended by a friend who had one and she was right about how well it performs.

how many units can be stored? - remember how to partition a drive - I did and I have 5 available drives for all my back ups - this little unit allows me to travel and hook up anywhere with my apps/progs and I do not have to be worried about what may happen to my hardware - portability is now my game

We bought this as extra storage for our XBox 1. This portable hard drive is perfect. It's fast and super compact and easy to set up.

this portable drive is pretty easy to use - would like to be able to only back up what I want, and not schedule - didn't spend enough time in settings... I'd like to buy an external HD that has no software - like a flashdrive with lots of room, and no backing up software.... - ?

I have not yet hooked up this external hard drive; but do have 3 others just like it (same model). They have all held up without any problems. The automatic NTI back up software can slow down your computer when it is backing up files. I would recommend the Toshiba external hard drives.

No problems with this drive, plugged in and worked with no issues and for a good price

Nice Harddrive for the money. The feel is quality and it was nice that it's formatted for a PC or Mac. I have a Mac and it was a piece of cake to set up. I would totally reccommend this product to anyone. It's a bonus that it just happens to come with 10GB of iCloud storage.

Overall a very nice product. I am using two actually - one for work projects and one for my private file backup. I like that the hardware is so small that I can easily take it with me wherever I go. So far it never let me down other than in one instance when the files would suddenly not show up on a Mac anymore but still on PC - I just had to reconfigure the hardware to make it work again.

Although small and portable in size, quite a bit of storage at an inexpensive price.

Easy to install .. does what it's made to do. Was on sale and the price was good.
