Very light weight and easy to use, fast and compatible.

This was a great sale price. Also it was very easy to use. Lots of space to back up all my programs and files from my home PC. There was even room left for my wife's PC. I can take it anywhere and just plug it in and I have all my items at my touch. Have all my music with me too !! Great if going to a party, plug and play.

I like the speed and the space. It is portable, so I can take it on the go, and look up all my info that I need.

I like this hard drive because it is small and portable. The 1TB comes in handy for all my pics and videos.

I bought this external drive to replace an older drive that was failing. The drive itself is small, lightweight and easy to install. The software that came with the drive made it very easy to backup/transfer all the data I wanted to transfer and also schedule future backups. I highly recommend this item.

I looked at several different portable hard drives and ultimately decided on the toshiba because of the positive reviews and its USB 3.0 compatibility. I have been using it as extra storage on my Xbox One. It is fast, there is hardly any difference running games from the toshiba versus the internal HD.

Bought 2 as Christmas gifts for around 55 bucks. Both Recipients are happy. Neither one have said a bad thing about them. I have the Toshiba 500gb 2.0. Bought it 3 years ago. Still works well. Will be purchasing a 3.0 case for it soon for the speed. Will xfer the hard drive to the new case.

The Toshiba Canvio Connect is compact and travels easy I can customize my back up this is the second external hardy drive I have I had a hard drive crash and taken my computer into Best Buy and geek squad backed up my data on Canvio Connect So was able to restore it into my new hard drive

Bought this to back up photos, videos and music. Super portable and works off the computer's power, so it's seriously pocket sized. 1TB is more than enough for me right now. I plan on buying a second to back-up my back-up. Buy this if you are looking to do the same thing as me. Works perfect!

I was worried at first that it would be complicated to hook up to my xbox, but it only took about 5 min and now I went from 99% full to 30% full! Totally recommend this product.

This drive fit the need as a full time back up for an iMac and the price was far superior than other similar size drives. It interfaced well with time capsule and was easy to format. Transfer speeds were excellent and reduced the initial backup to much less time than I expected.

I got this to back up my pictures and videos taken with my DSLR camera. I love how quickly the files transfer over and how simple it is to operate. I also dropped it accidentally at about four feet and I had no issues with it. I'm sure within reason it's slightly shockproof.

After my WD backup drive failed and I lost some data stored on it I was looking for a replacement that was not WD. The Toshiba was recommended by the store representative. It is compact, and easy to install. So far it has functioned well and the datat is easy to locate.

This is my first Toshiba external drive, and have only owned it for a few months now, so it's a little to early say..good or bad. Can't say enough about being able to carry and transfer big files/photos/projects around on a tiny drive, and plug into any other computer and use the data. Makes moving around a snap, and holds more than enough for the largest project I can imagine I'll ever have!

I've previously owned one terabit external hard drives, and this Toshiba is wonderful. It's more compact, quiet, and great to use. The product actually met the advertising claims. Plus, dealing with two of Best's electronic sales help made the deal easy to consumate.

Plugged it in, let it format, and have had no issues for the past few weeks on my Xbox One. All games run without issue and it's quiet and quick. I see no difference between games installed on this and on the internal drive. The blue light is not obnoxious at all.

Got this for my mom as she wanted to free up some space on her iPhone, and only has an old laptop computer with barely 100gb of space. Instead of getting a 64gb usb drive for around $20-$30, I told her this would be a better investment for her use. She can save all her pictures from her old computers, iPhone, etc. It does have the Canvio Connect, but my mom wasn't too crazy about being able to access her content online (where she thinks it's too risky, "you never know"). I don't blame her, and will probably set up something for her to access the disk directly via team viewer or something. I didn't install much of their software onto the computer, just the main one to get it running (ran automatically I believe). I skipped the rest, didn't back up the whole computer or set up auto backups, but I know this device does do this. Instead we're just doing drag and drop for now :)

Bought it as a gift for my roommate that owned a PC works really well, especially the 3.0 data transfer speed. Came with USB. I own a Mac Book Pro so I would have to reformat the whole drive before I could use it. But if you have a PC and looking for good Hard drive for extra space then this is a good buy for $89 plus tax. I don't know the price now but I bought it on sale.
