I needed an external hard drive for my Xbox one and this works perfectly! I wanted something small and compact to keep near my Xbox and it holds all my games that I can no longer fit in my Xbox.

Been backing up our laptop to a thumb drive and got tired of the messages "possible corruption, reorganize". Bought this drive so have lots of room for backups and other file storage use. Sleek, small footprint on the desk and portable. Easy to use.

Great little box for backups. I bought at BestBuy as recommended by Geek Squad. I have all three computers' backed up with plenty of room to expand. Size of a wallet, easy to drop in my fire proof safe. A great storage device for peace of mind.

This is a Very good usb HD. USB 3.0 transfers the data Very Fast. No Problems, and Very Good. No Errors or any miss haps whatsoever. I use this with my laptop and it plays movies off it very well, no pausing, no issues at all. VERY GOOD USB HD

I chose the Toshiba Canvio portable hard drive because I have a Toshiba laptop. It worked right away without any effort. You wouldn't need a Toshiba computer to make this device work.

I'm very happy with the size and price It's very east to use.

This was the perfect hard drive to use to back up photos and info from my iPad. It will take quite a while to use all the space,but it was reasonably priced and everything I downloaded is in a safe place.

This is a well made, small portable USB drive that works well. I recommend using the backup software too that comes with it. It allows you to create an image backup and set up a schedule to routinely backup your files as well.

USB 3.0 drive is noticeably faster than my old USB 2.0 drive. Needed to back up my laptop that has an SSD. Not sure if you would notice the difference with a regular disk drive. If you can get it on sale, good drive. Have seen some 2TB disks lately at sub $90 lately.

This is my 2nd Toshiba 1TB portable hard drive. I've had the first one for about 2 years as a back up device for my Apple Mac Mini and it's worked perfectly. Can't beat the price either! I highly recommend!!!!

This is a great little external drive. It connects via USB 3.0, but can also work on USB 2.0. It does not require a separate power supply, getting it's power from the USB port. That makes it very portable.

I bought this product 2 years ago and it's still working great. I've got 4 pc's backed up on it, along with tons of music and movies. I usually do a scan and defrag about every 6 months.

Loads fast, holds plenty for saved games. My internal hard drive died, so I plugged in a 32 GB flash drive to use as my internal, and then this for storage backup. It does what it is intended to do.

Desperately needed space on the hard drive----and this worked great! I would highly recommend, it's compact, functional and works like a charm!

Bought this in preparation of upgrading to windows 10 because I wanted to remove all of my pictures and files and documents from the computer prior to installing windows 10. Works great for that, everything transferred over quickly and without issue. The pogoplug companion app that you get a "lifetime" access too that allows you to stream content on your hard drive to other devices with internet connection DID work.....it had some quirks to it but it did work. HOWEVER, after upgrading to windows 10 the pogoplug no longer recognized the fact that it was registered to my computer and would no longer allow me access. I even went into the pogoplug account settings and deactivated the original registration and reactivated it for windows 10 and it still didn't work. I tried contacting pogoplug multiple times and weeks later now and I still have not heard a reply from them!. bad customer service. I believe they refer to the service as a $49.99 value. So if you ask me, I got jipped out of $49.99!

This HDD is excellent for private use. It stores good amount of data and it is compact and lightweight. I am 100% satisfied with the purchase.

I only purchased this device for backing up my operating system on the laptop. It has easy to follow instructions. I had no problem operating thishard drive. I would rrecommend to a friend.

I'm not a computer geek and this was so easy to use. It's reliable, portable and just works great. It's the way to go. I bought two of them, and if I need more, I'll get another one of these.
