I got this to use as a backup for home computer needs. Music, pictures, movies, etc, all are on there, and the Toshiba Canvio Connect II 2 TB has plenty of room for my needs. I previously had the 1 TB version, and this is only slightly thicker. Well worth the price, works great.

Came into BestBuy to get a 2nd backup hard drive since my other one was getting full. Didn't really expect much, to be honest, just grabbed this because it was on sale and I'm really glad I did. This works well with my MacBook and is fast. Will probably be buying another one!

Saved out/backed up all our music, photos, and documents a week before our desktop died! Perfect timing. Easy to use, tons of storage, and fairly compact.

I believe this is my third, maybe fourth Toshibo Canvio portable HD that I've purchased over the years, always replacing with larger ones due to increasing storage requirements, have not had a failure to date. I carry these in my work backpack to construction job sites, etc., so they can take quite a beating. Seem to be pretty rugged.

I use several of these as working disks for RAM heavy file usage. For the most part, they work fine as storage. Really easy. Just plug and use. What I would like to see improved is the transmission speed and RAM requirements. Perhaps an Ethernet cable connection or faster transmission method than USB 3.0. As they get full, they get hard to work on, manage. The USB 3.0 connection starts to overload, especially if you use more than one.

I am not computer savy so I was worried about figuring out how to use this to back up my computer before a move...I did not need to worry...it walked me thru it very quickly and easily. Great product :)

Yep. That about covers it. It's a very simple plug and play hard drive. I am using it on my Xbox One. It probably took longer to get it out if the box than it took to start moving files onto it. I got it for $50, can't go wrong at that price.

This drive works great for moving files from one computer to another and creating/storing images of a working hard drive. I have been able to create and restore machine images quickly with this drive. It's a must-have if you want to store files or system images externally. It does come with a USB3 cable.

This is the second 2tb toshiba portable hard drive i buy and it doesnt dissapoint. The first hard drive i bought which was 4 yrs ago, i am currently using to store all my pictures, music, movies, etc. Now for this hard drive i plan on giving to my wife so she can back up all her files from her laptop.

2 TB that fits in your pocket in a shell that looks like Darth Vader's iPod. Very quiet operation but speed is merely adequate.

I have been using this drive not for backups but data dumps. I back up all of my photography to two of these devices. It has not had any issues so far and things have transferred very quickly. I would recommend this unit.

I had never heard of these before I was told by a friend. The more friends I asked the more they said to get one and they all said to get Toshiba. I'm really glad I got it. It was very easy to install and operate. Now I don't have to worry about my computer crashing anymore.

I needed this item so I could transfer music from one mac to another. It is easy to use and is small and sleek.

I love the Toshiba drives. I store movies and songs on them and I have had WD brand fail in the past. The Toshiba drives have been good to me there for I have a total of 16 terabytes of stored media. Thanks Robert
