My hard drive crashed and needed a replacement. Purchased this Toshiba SSD and was able to get it back up and running. Only wish the price would drop for the 1TB model since 256gb is pretty small. My laptop now boots up lighting fast.

I replaced my Toshiba HD with this 256gb SSD for the sole purpose of speeding up my computer overall. Installation was easy, build seemed strong. After cloning my HD to the SSD and installing it, my computer ran perfectly without a problem. It just started MUCH faster and ran much faster. Great bargain for this price. I know it's not the top of the line SSD, but if you want top of the line, you better expect to pay TONS more. This SSD satisfied its purpose and I am happy. Highly recommended

Got this when it went on sale. Significant improvement to laptop performance. Everything runs faster. If you already have 4GB or more RAM, then SSD is the next logical upgrade. You'll love it.

This SSD brought new life to my laptop!! It now boots up in just a few seconds and programs open instantly. My laptop performs better now then when it did brand new 4 years ago!!

Building a new gaming rigs this month, I wanted the OS to have its own SSD drive for speed and faster access times when loading my games. Did I saw this drive was fast, boy is it fast from shut down to fully logged in takes me 10 seconds now, OS load is 6-8 seconds. Log-in 3 seconds. I love the drive, but worry about the warranty if anything goes wrong, since Toshiba doesn't allow for product registration on site or in the package.

This drive, has so far, proven to be fast and reliable, I feel that it was a good value for the price, and was glad that BB had it in stock when I needed something.

Easy data transfer process with toshiba migration software. First attempt to transfer data failed. Second time worked fine. Drive is fast and works as expected.

Blazing fast, more than adequate room for majority of PC users. Easy install, super fast boot times.

As soon as these get big enough to replace old fashioned mechanical drives (and they get cheaper) I'd love to replace every HDD I have with these. No noise, stays cools to the touch, small form factor. Still a bit pricy though.

I am very happy with the performance and value of this item. I didn't know Toshiba made an ssdd, but I trust their name. It's a good choice.

It's hard to say about this Toshiba SSD, the performance is better than other but not easy to use the software, sometime the SSD make me feel not realizable, some minor issue with it. But so far, the SSD still working fine.

I purchased this HD to SSD swap on my early 2011 MacBook Pro. My MBP was running a little sluggish and this HD has improved the speed a lot. My startup time has gone from 3 minutes to under a minute, and as soon as my screen boots up I can immediately start my browser. If you have a laptop that's running slow a SSD swap is the best and cheapest upgrade you can do, and this HD is the best value when you consider the price.

This has been a great drive, was easy to install into my new tablet, Dell XPS 18.4" all in one desktop, and has sped up the machine.

For $99 this thing is nice and fast. Specs are as good as other models costing $30 more. I love how fast my computer boots now.

This is a great ssd for a great price. It's fast and I have had no memory loss at all since installation 2 months ago.

I got an inexpensive toshiba laptop and somehow c racked the screen. After watchign some YouTube videos I realized how easy it, the Satellite Laptop, was to work on. Fixed the screen, threw 16 gigs of DDR3L ram into it an this 256G SSD. This gavee me a smoking fast laptop for under $700 bucks. The SSD is the BOMB. 10 minutes to backup my OS and files and to switch them. So worth the money!
