the compact size and light weight of this laptop is a must have for travelers. don't get me wrong, it is a full spec computer, with an ssd drive that makes booting up a breeze. the free upgrade to win 10 was a bonus

I am very impressed with this laptop. I got it for school and I have not had a problem at all. It has great connection speed, lite weight, and I only spent $193!

Windows program is non-user friendly. Moving the mouse to the corner of window SUCKS.

I brought this open box need cheap laptop to just do my fantasy football league

I'm entering college this fall, so I decided that I needed a much more portable laptop than the 17.3 inch, 6 lb laptop I had before. I don't game and I use my phone for videos, so I was just searching for a small laptop that would perform basic functions like Microsoft Word and web browsing. I also depend on USB flash drives so memory was not an issue. Overall, I found the laptop good enough for my minimalist needs. This laptop is very portable. The size and weight makes it easy to hold in one hand and still be secure. I worried that switching to such a smaller laptop would give me difficulties in typing, but the Toshiba L15-B1330 has a very capable keyboard for its size. Because I'm relying on USB flash drives for most of my memory, it was a concern that this laptop only had (1) 2.0 USB port and (1) 3.0 USB port, but that is easily fixed with USB hubs. Having a solid state drive (SSD), booting up and opening programs takes very little time. From time to time, the laptop will lag due to heavier multitasking, but generally the SSD has proved better than the hard disk drive (HDD) found in most laptops. It also stays much cooler than a laptop with a HDD. As far as battery life, the laptop is pretty dependable. Although the battery life fluctuates based on several factors (brightness, internet, how many programs are open, etc.), for the price, I get a generous battery life. Fully charged, the battery life ranges from 4 hours (heavier activity) to 10 hours (light activity, airplane mode). Although I haven't tried gaming, I have loaded videos. Based on the poor sound and graphics (both lagging considerably), I do not recommend this laptop for those wishing to game or to watch hour long movies. The laptop's performance with YouTube and Netflix is not bad but not stellar. Its performance on other video streaming and video sharing websites, however, is far from ideal. Bottom line, if you are looking for an affordable laptop that is portable and adequately functional for basic activities, then this laptop will do. If you wish more out of a laptop, then the Toshiba L15-B1330 is probably not the one for you.

I bought this as a gift and it looks and works nicely from what I gather.

I bought this laptop for my 13 year old nephew and he was very excited and was able to start it up himself and get going. Very user friendly!!!!
