working good so far kind of slow but for the price its great

I asked specific questions about this laptop before purchasing. The host and the salesman talked me out of the machine I wanted in favor of this Toshiba. I'm not at all happy with the purchase. First time Best Buy staff has given me bad advice and it was truly BAD.

You will get what you buy when you get this produce.

The mouse is always freezing for several seconds, it let's me frustrated. The sound is poor to watch movies online not even at 100% volume works; if someone makes a noise in the room you have to rewarding the movie to know what they we're saying :( or install an External sound system :) which beats the idea of a Laptop in the first place.

Windows 8 sucks, says I have no disc drive or USB ports. And connectivity issues from day one. Haven't been able to use it and need to take it back. I work with computers and know enough to not have these types of problems.

This computer in a box is not user friendly. When moving from one program to another it is awkward; takes too much time to navigate.

Other than how the products were shipped and packaged the over all experience was pretty good. I was disapointed that my laptop only had packaging on one side of the box and that the rest of the order failed to arive properly at first. Calling customer service was also a hit or miss affair. The first person I talked to gave me the run around and tried to unload the problem on UPS. UPS then told me it was a store problem and eventually the second Best Buy Service representive was able to help me get my order within 2 days. So far a week later the product is working great and I'm hoping for the best since I seem to have really bad luck with buying computers. It's able to play older games fairly well, stuff like Starcraft, Diablo etc. Like many have said Window's 8 is pretty unusable but you can download several free programs to make it run more like windows 7, things like Clasic Shell for example. The mouse pad is a bit wierd and overly senstive. Over all the keyboard and mouse are not to bad for a laptop but I would suggest using the two USB 2.0 ports to plug in a mouse and keyboard for prolonged use at home. Only real complaint about the computer itself is the screen has a rather small viewing angle at times. If you turn down the brighness from the standard 'Maxium' setting it seems to improve the problem however. Over all I'm pretty happy with the product.

Great computer super fast and it has a reasonable price good with games the windows 8 os needs a little learning but that is fine its pretty much like windows 7 nice sized keyboard with a 10 keypad on right

I purchased this and started setting it up. The touchpad would hang every once in a while. I figured it was just apps installing slowing it down. The longer it ran, the more issues it had. Returning it was a PAIN! After waiting at the store for an hour going to customer service then to sales and then back to customer service to ask for a refund. My opinion of Best Buy is definitely lower.
