I'm not a technogeek, so I should have done more research before making this purchase. I have had a Toshiba before and had a good experience so this seemed like a good deal. The Windows 8 OS definitely has a learning curve if you have not used it on another computer. Since this is a touchscreen, I also have to get used to multilple means to input commands. It seems to have too much (or possibly conflicting) software already installed, so it is prone to freezing and sluggish response. It seems that I have to touch the screen fairly often or the tactile mouse pad refuses to function. I'm not sure if these issues are common to touch screens or if it is just a case of an inexperienced user. It is however, lightweight and fairly fast. I did see that there were complaints about the sound and I agree that the speakers leave much to be desired. It was priced very reasonably (about $325) so I, as a general user, am not completely dissatisfied with it. I would not recommend it for someone who is doing a lot of audio editing, gaming or multi window work. Overall I would give it a B-

The laptop meets are needs of Microsoft office products, Internet & email and has s large screen. However there is room for improvement: Windows 10 takes some getting use to; it is top heavy & tends to fall backwards off your lap & my husband does not care for the scroll function of the mouse; for the price I would recommend.

Purchased two laptop computers for daughter and son now that they have graduated and off to their respective "real world" jobs. Idea is new beginnings...new computers!!! Both love the idea of a fresh start and configuring a new machine based on all the things they have learned over the last 4 years. Units are very user friendly and the fact that they are Windows 10 ready as well as touch screen is a great new feature they didn't have before.

Okay so first of all I want to note that when it comes to laptops, I had no idea where to begin! So I just went in the store and started to play around with the laptops, and that's when I fell in love. At first I didn't think I would use the touch screen very often, But I was so wrong! The touch screen is very convenient, and I use it more than I thought I would! The laptop seems to be very sturdy and durable. It is easy to operate, and will take you through a tutorial for everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) So far my only complaint is that the space bar needs to be pushed harder than normal ((which is probably just with my laptop)) as well as Bing and internet explorer. I am a google person, I have always been a good person. So the fact that it brought up Bing made me puke a little in my mouth. BUT I forgave it, ((I also just got the google app)) I am 19 and I don't use it for hardcore gaming, But I can still run several games, I can access the internet and easily switch screens. I would recommend it really to all my friends. I was quite surprised with how well it ran games like Sims and Skyrim, I thought it would run slow and the video quality would suck but it is the opposite! I LOVE THIS LAPTOP!

This Toshiba Laptop bundle was a nice package, especial for a student since it included Office 365 and Antivirus for a year. Everything installed properly and the setup was relatively easy. The laptop has been more than sufficient for most uses and the touchscreen works very well. Even though the laptop cannot be user upgraded, it suits my needs and was a great buy.

Overall a good product. It will not set any processor speed records but works well never the less. Fair price paid for a fair to good laptop. It is nice and large with a keyboard that is very comfortable.

This Toshiba Touch Screen Laptop is a winner, the a6-6310 with r4 graphics processor is good for all around performance. I Love this laptop has upgradeable ram memory to 16 gigs, and that is what you will need to enjoy this laptop in 2015 and beyond. (Just Make Sure you get the right ram PC3-128000 ddr3 LOW VOLTAGE RAM = 1.35V) and you will be fine. the only bad part to this Laptop is that the screen is not an ips panel, but with that noted I can say it becomes great when you are in the zone reading or surfing the internet. i play, hearthstone, smite, lol, and dota2 without any problems. have fun and don't pay to much!!

The touch screen works well. I am happy with the purchase. Competitively priced. I only use the computer for emails, shopping and streaming videos. Quality is good.

Does everything we've wanted, schoolwork, business, watching movies and playing games, plus the touch screen is a nice addition.

I got this for my 6th grader thinking the touch screen would be good and easy for him to use. The touchscreen works perfect. The keyboard is easy to use. I love that it has a CD/DVD player, and side number keys. The only drawback I found so far is that the mouse pad is not compatible with Windows 10. I purchased a wireless mouse,but you have to make sure it says Windows 10 compatible or you may have another problem.

I would like ito be faster but it is good for basic use. It is good about the price.

Purchased this for my daughter and she loves it! I was Leary of getting a touchscreen for a thirteen year old but she has been able to do so much without using a keyboard. I may just have to get one for myself.

This is a good computer for everything my daughter needs it for. She watches Netflix on it, plays games and loves the touch screen! It should come in very handy for schoolwork this year also.

I have bought 5 total of these laptops and gave them to my teenagers . They love them . great for games , school work and surfing the internet

I had an other computer that was new, never really liked it or used it because it would not keep certain settings. This computer works great for all my needs and I like the touch screen.

Easy set-up and use. Enjoying the touch screen. The only thing I don't like is that Toshiba pushes the use of Bing and their home screen.

The actual computer its self, works great, i love the layout and design, I absolutely despise the operating system windows 8.1 is ridiculously slow and laggy.

I love the sales staff at Best Buy Greece NY. They are knowledegable, friendly and professional. Helped me pick this laptop based on what I need. Windows 365, was included in the package, is easy and has many new features that make uploading different formats of documents and photos automatic with no effort. Webroot, also included, is an excellent security software, and again automatic, always protecting my information. A great buy at $299.00!

It was my first computor purchase. I tried it for 2 weeks and decided it wasnt the one i really wanted and returned it. They took it back with no problems. My biggest beef was it didnt have a light up key board. For the price it was a good deal but decided to get the one I really wanted.
