A huge step up for me after I finally upgraded from a 9 year old Toshiba Satellite (also from Best Buy) that I bought in 2006/2007. The only problems I've had with this machine is figuring out how everything works going from an old XP machine to Windows 8.1.

I haven't found anything it doesn't do well yet. Definitely an upgrade from the older satellite I had.

This computer is fast and very user friendly and I have had no problems with the operating system.

Windows 10 in now on this laptop, and wow. I was impressed with the laptop even with 8.1. There isn't a night it's not used. Halo performs well. The Toshiba eco mode works well. Heat isn't a problem that I've experienced. I contemplated a 1TB SSD drive before any purchase, but will now wait. Yes I'm impressed.

My salesman was very helpful. It was very busy but he took the time to help us and answered our questions. The laptop is very good. We are still exploring its capabilities. The battery lasts a long time. This computer is very light and easy to take anywhere you go. This should fit our needs for quite some time.

Love the screen size and clarity, but not the fastest computer. It has a lot of cool features especially with the new Windows functionality.

Had an issue when I loaded the new windows causing the mouse to freeze, but since that bug has been fixed, it works perfectly.

I'm in love with this Toshiba Satellite convertible notebook! It is light and powerful. Truly a great choice for a desktop replacement. I have used this notebook daily for several months and I haven't experienced a single problem with it.

One of the reasons for selecting this laptop was the ability to use it as a tablet, as the screen can flip back...which turns out that when in laptop mode the screen and mouse do not work properly. Long story short, I've had to disable the on-screen mouse used for tablet mode...so I just use it in laptop mode and it works fine. I purchased this laptop in 2015, no issues otherwise for 2 years.

This laptop was a little heavy and I didn’t enjoy the touch screen, but it works great and was easy to use

I bought this for my daughter for use at college. she likes it and it is meeting her needs

Not ideal for travelling as it is huge...The Windows setup is longer than expected. Once setup is done, the laptop is pretty fast.

Bought this after going through 2 HP laptops in 6 months and this one has preformed amazing. My girlfriend got it for nursing school and uses a lot of stuff on it from the camera and mic to playing on it or using as a tablet. From my past experiences Toshiba laptops hit the head on the nail!
