Good laptop, great price. Only problem is that I had exchange it because of keyboard issues

Bought this laptop for my daughter starting college. She loves it and has no complaints. She's able to carry it with her around school and even upgraded to Windows 10 with no issues. No connectivity issues--loves the tablet feature!

I use this laptop for a supplement of my less than stellar work laptop so no gaming or social media junk. It is a work horse and I love it.

First time that I have purchased a Toshiba brand computer/laptop. This has been an amazing powerful machine. It has made my personal/business life so much easier and faster.

I researched laptops before I purchased and decided on this Toshiba. It is everything I expected. I especially like the feel of the keyboard. The one feature I did not like is Narrator. However, it was easy enough to inactivate

I bought this computer to keep up with changes in the software industry and to tutor programming students. The hardware of this laptop is excellent, it responds quickly and convenient. The Microsoft windows 8 starting page is mostly useless for a programmer, Windows 7 was far better. Most of the application on start page I do not use. This laptop has some very annoying software pre-loaded. First Best Buy's own Geek Squad. The Geek Squad software pops-up every-time something goes wrong or an error is generated on the computer. If it would be available on users request, like an icon it would be o.k. But the pop-up 'can I help you' pops-up every 30 seconds at times when you install software or when developing software. I uninstalled this software on my computer!!! Another pre-loaded application opens a window, advises you to call a phone number after it locks up the laptop. When you call up this number and you inquire about what is wrong. The representative on the phone tells you that he is from YAY Technology a Microsoft Partner Company. They advise you that your computer has some virus, or other harmful software is loaded on your system and they can fix it for one time $200. When you give them access to your computer they show you that they are Microsoft partners, and have a BBB A+ rating. They show you that none of the Microsoft "defense" is running on the system. They open some binary file that you cannot read. They try to scare you by implying that it is a harmful software. What they don't tell you is that the binary file is most likely a cache dump that is used by some legitimate application. After all this I told them I will not use their services, I demanded that they take of the window with their phone number and return the control of the computer, so their technician removed their software as far as I can tell. After installing OS updates from Microsoft, and removing an adware using McAfee software my laptop now is working fine. When one buys a computer/laptop for close $1000 from a retail vendor the computer comes with a bunch of pre-loaded software. Removing, uninstalling these software, especially harmful software takes a lot of time and know how. This problem is forced on the customer without his/her knowledge and understanding. I have always bought computers directly from hardware vendors on the web, without any software and then I buy only the software I need without any advertised software. I will buy my next laptop from hardware retailers without software.

Purchased primarily for use as a full-time college student majoring in Management Accounting, Finance, Business Administration.

So far everything is good. Great speed. To soon to give a five star purchase.

After conferring with dept. associate we chose this computer. purchased what we were told were all the extras only to be told after a problem loading windows 10 we had to spend more money to fix the problem. the problems continued until she left for college and we had to contact geek squad in Davenport IA

I was worried about getting a new computer because of the bad comments about Windows 8. I really like Windows 8 and my Toshiba 2in1. So easy to manage.

The laptop is an average one, everything runs well, is quite smooth, however the fan keeps on running all the time. It does not get excessively heated up but then the fan doesn't shut at all. Apart from this the laptop is fine with good clarity, good for playing games or watching a movie.
