I needed a decent workhorse, business laptop and I didn't have a big budget. The speed, memory and functionality of this laptop are spot on for what I needed. It's not the lightest if laptops, but I knew that going in and compared to older models it's really light. Great computer for the money

After researching and reviewing various computers, this was the winner. I am happy to say "This was a good decision." This Toshiba laptop offers all that I need for college and then some extras. Additionally, the price for this product makes this an even better deal. I am indeed satisfied.

Feature for feature this is a great laptop/tablet A little heavy for s lot of tablet use and will probable run better on win 10

I bought it for myself, for quality of material and speed&memory. I am very happy with the material elements, much better,durable then the plastic ones around. I do not use touch screen options much, I find it anoying when it tries to get to tablet form without my initiation. My only other headache is it takes ages to startup. I do not know if it is the hardware, Windows OS or the virus protection, but after 25 years, I believe my next laptop will be a mac.

After being on an IPAD for the past 2 years, getting back to a laptop has been great. I didn't realize how much I missed using a computer! This laptop has not disappoint my return to using a computer. The lighted keyboard is a very nice feature, the unit is light, and the mutliple screen position are pretty cool. When I upgraded to Win10, the system seem to slow down, but I ran my System Mechanic program, it diagnosis the problem and everything is running fine. The speakers are excellent and having a 10 key pad is handy. The system is very quite. I had problems using the trackpad, but that may be more on me than the unit.....so I simply purchased a wireless mouse and keyboard. So, while at my desk, I use the mouse and keyboard, away from the desk, its the laptop keyboard and trackpad. I'm starting to get use to the pad. I haven't fully explore everything about the laptop, but Toshiba included videos and how-to instructions. Excellent computer for what I paid.

Last Toshiba held out for 8 years. Bought this after reading good reviews. It is fast, efficient and quiet... love the flip to tablet option!

I use this for work and I love the different uses and positions. I can take it out and use it as a tablet more then a laptop or use it exclusively as a laptop. It runs the different programs that I need seamlessly.

I do a lot of work on my device. I previously had a tablet, which was good but limited in what I needed. This Toshiba is great. I can use it as a tablet and it has the speed and memory of a desktop. This is the best of both. The fact that it is lightweight is an added perk.

Everything works as expected so I'm happy. Using Windows 8 is more of a problem then the computer but the touch screen makes it easier.

This Computer has helped me in all areas of my business and personal life. Easy to use and does so many things.

I thoroughly enjoy my Toshiba laptop. Considering I am full-time college student and full-time worker, it keeps up with the demand of both school and work. I do use the laptop with a dual-screen setup and it still works flawlessly. The battery life is a very good!

My previous Toshiba Satellite needed replacing, and this laptop has met my expectations in every area but one - battery life. It was advertised to last 10 hours, but I think that is only possible if you're not running multiple programs and have the screen dimmed to its lowest setting. The most I got is 4-5 hours before needing to recharge it. That being said, I love that it's fast, thin, and still has a big enough screen to use for Powerpoint notes

After 10 days returned Laptop to store, Geeks gave me a another new one owing to poor start up time and processing time. Still not better. Now decided to clone the 1TB hard drive that was installed to a 480gig PNY sata3 6Gb/s SSD Drive., and remove all unwanted programs that came with the Toshiba. This should make it work considerably better. Shame the computer did not have an SSD card installed in the first place. I did purchase an inexpensive budget portable DVD USB optical drive to load some of my old programmes from my first old Toshiba Laptop. ( When you undo the back of the laptop total of 12 00size cross head screws. 2 screws are hidden underneath each of the rear elongated rubber feet on the underside, peel these rubber feet off they push back easily to refit afterwards. Prise up cover carefully, as cover is attached by a very small ribbon cable to the body of the computer. Make sure this ribbon is firmly attached to the rear cover when replacing the hard drive. GOOD LUCK!

We have not had this laptop long yet, but it has been a great machine so far. The touchscreen is responsive and the upgrade to Windows 10 has gone smoothly. My wife has no complaints and everything we have used it for so far has worked flawlessly.

The design and feel of this laptop is really great. I have had a few instances where the screen goes black. This is frustrating at times but not enough right now to give the laptop a bad rating. It is quiet, fast and the speakers sound great. Overall for now this is a good laptop and I am enjoying it and doing everything I need to do on it.

Excellent graphics- 1080p resolution makes it a great computer for editing and playing go pro footage. Main reason we bought it. Super fast! Only downside is sometimes mouse pad doesn't work if battery is low and the screen is sensitive where it flips if you hold it at the wrong angle. Other than that it's been AMAZING! Our friend recently got a go pro and because we liked our computer so much he bought the same one too!

I have had this computer for a year now and it has been absolutely perfect. Touchscreen, number pad, back lit keyboard, plenty of HD space etc. The only question now is if I should upgrade to windows 10. Would buy again in a heart beat!
