Customers frequently mention the Galaxy A01's value for the price and ease of use as significant advantages. Positive feedback also highlights the camera quality and battery life. A common concern, however, centers around the limited storage capacity. Many users suggest that the device's internal storage fills up quickly.

This phone was purchased for my father as his first smart phone. It was not a good introduction to smartphones. I think it did the opposite of my intended thought. It is slow, buggy, and not responsive. The good thing is, its cheap. Their is much better alternatives for prepaid phones. Easy service to use tho.

Decent Magic Device

Decent smart phone for a decent price. No thrills, but works well as a basic smart phone. Lags a bit, but not badly. Maybe not the best as a phone for professional tasks or gaming, but pretty great as a casual device.
Touch screen works well, apps install and work properly, headphone jack, and the speaker is just fine. Battery life is okay, though not as good as advertised. And face-id only works in near-perfect lighting, resulting in multiple swipes needed to input a backup code to unlock the phone in even a slightly dim space.
Overall, it's a good phone. Though it's difficult to say it's better than the rest at the same price point. Solid deal still though...it's a essentially a magic wand that fits snugly in your pocket for about 60 bucks.

I found this cell phone definitely worth the price. Since I don't do much other than talk and text, I found it does this with ease. I also liked the slim design. It's great to just put in your pocket.
On the minus side, it was tough to understand how to navigate around the different functions.

Intended to buy a mp3 player for my daughter and walked away with this instead. Now she has an mp3 player and a camera. In case there is a time that is called for her to be able to use this as a phone, I am keeping the 1 month service for that time. Until then, she has her mp3 player, a camera, and when at home she can connect to the wiFi to look things up for her school assignments.

Battery life so far lasts three days without recharging. Photos turn out great using the device. I use my phone for texting, checking email and google search and the phone accomplishes all those tasks with no fuss.

I bought it specifically to listen to music and podcasts when I go run. Great battery life and performance for my use (I use a different phone as my daily driver). It's not real fast or impressive for a daily phone, but works great for what it is.

Perfect for my (perhaps unusual) purposes. My 7-year-old routinely loaded games onto my SamsungS8 and commandeered it to play. I bought this inexpensive smart burner-phone with no wireless plan whatsoever, and she uses it as a game-playing screen when connected to our home wi-fi. This was much more economical than a similarly-powered Android Tablet, and she's excited to have a phone, even if she can't make calls. I did load Zoom onto it so we can chat with each other that way.

I bought two of these for my youngest kids (5 and 8) as kind of a starter phone. They are perfect for them. We’ve had them since Christmas with no cases yet and they’ve been dropped dozens of times but are still in perfect condition. They can do basically anything most other pricey phones can do and are kid user friendly. I have nothing bad to say about them. The shipping was incredibly fast and Best Buy kept me updated on their delivery promptly.

I bought this for my child since she was constantly taking our phones to play games.
The phone works great. It is fair quality for the price. The issue I have is the space. My child has roughly 5 games and Netflix on the phone and it tells her all the time she does not have space. I added an SD card and found out that Samsung does not allow game data on the card.
I would recommend this phone for people who need something basic for calls/texting and internet browsing.

You can talk on it and hear on it without having to have it on speaker, but there isn't space for a whole lot more. Out of 16gb, 12 was taken with preinstalled junk, and with the recent updates, 15 of 16gb is taken up with preinstalled items that cannot be removed. They need a mor efficient way to do these updates.

I purchased this phone for my 10 year old grandson basically to use as a way to play games and watch You Tube. He loves the phone. He says its fast and the picture is really clear. We've taken a few selfies and the quality of the pictures is very good. Very nice phone! would definitely purchase again!

The phone works fine and the camera is adequate. There will be a lot of downloaded apps that you can not transfer to the SD, so you run out of storage really fast. Also the battery is built in. Once the battery gets to the point where it won’t hold a charge, you’ll have to replace the phone.

My mom left her phone back home when she came out to visit me and needed a phone to use while she was out here. It's a nice little phone that worked well. Only problem is that it doesn't come with much space for apps so if you want to play a lot of games you'll need an SD card.

My little girl loves hers. Great for a first phone only problem is that the service doesn't have any type of parental control options and no way to see call logs, text, apps or device locator. I tried to download Bark to it but it won't work with this device.
