This thing was a little temperamental at first. My master is on the edge of my property and has been a complete dead zone, which during quarantine with an Amazon fire TV was not a super combination. Positioning this both in the bedroom or at the outlet immediately outside of the bedroom did not provide consistent service. Once I played around with it a little bit I got a lot more consistent signal. From time to time my iPad still has a hard time picking up the signal but every other device in my room seems to recognize it. All in all it’s pretty great value once you figure out the best place to put it.

I have not had any major issues with this extended. There was one time that required me to reset the device because of poor connectivity, but I would have to day that it performs very well.

My detached garage is about 50 feet from my house. I bought this to work with a smart garage opener, but the signal is not strong enough out there. However, it does not reach that far, however does work to extend to all the areas in my house. TP Link support is HORRIBLE. Also, their more expensive 650 model does not connect to my laptop, nest cam, or iPhone, but this model connects to all devices I have tried it with.

Our router is at the far corner of the upstairs playroom, so much of our house is out of range. I put this in the middle of the upstairs, and now we have great signal all throughout the house! I’ve only rebooted it a few times over the year since it has been installed.

Extremely easy to set up for a novis. I'd say range from router might be somewhat shorter than expected (but I qualify that the router is somewhat older and a AC1700 type).

Just added two of these to each level of our home to help with internet speed and coverage. Kids are happy so we are happy!

A little concerned about a few of the reviews where people had issues with their setup, I took the plunge based on the positive reviews and the unit went on an excellent sale so decided I could always take it back if it gave me issues. Glad I did as the setup was a breeze. I have it on the far end of our house to allow for stronger connections with devices in the garage (which is separate and even farther away) and it works perfectly. Those devices would randomly send me notifications of a lost internet signal on a regular basis. Once I set this up (2.4 only, as I needed the range) , those have all gone away. Would definitely purchase, again.

This extender was very easy to set up. I have been using it now with multiple items connected with no issues. Things seem to stay connected and the signal is strong. The app makes it's very easy to set up, use, and monitor the status of the extender. Overall I am very satisfied.

I love this product. It seamlessly integrated with my existing wifi router and it really extended the range of wifi signal. Surprisingly, the 5G band is really fast, it is even faster than my new google wifi mesh routers. I am very happy about this product.

Great range extender for home wifi network, it just about doubled the strength of my 2.5 single band wifi signal. Setup was sust plain simple through my browser, easy to change the ssid.

Excellent results. Put in center of 2200 ft home and get good reception in remote area of house. Very easy installation. Installation completed in 5 minutes. Very pleased with purchase.

Setup using a browser in 2 minutes. The great thing is that once setup it just extended our current Wifi with the same Wifi name and password. Did not require a separate Wifi name or to login so we can roam anywhere and it keep the speeds up very well.

I upgraded to the TP-Link AC1750 for longer wi fi range. So happy we did, we have had no outages since our purchase. We also own a TP link modem. Great value!

Does what it needs to do and is very easy to setup

We needed an extender that would cross the house, extend outside and between floors. We researched and selected this product based on reviews and are so pleased with the results.

This served it's purpose well. I now have internet in my backyard and office with no interference. The extender was easy to install and low profile. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

This is the best investment I’ve made in months!! I had a terrible dead zone in the back of the house where the master bedroom is and my LG smart TV just would not connect automatically constantly had to manually connected until I purchased this. The TV now connects automatically within seconds and the Wi-Fi signal for everything seems stronger and faster with less of a strain at the main router. The only thing I wish TP Link would have done is merge this into one thing on the app both the extender and my main router are to link, Both devices are displayed in the app or separately I wish they would emerged it so all the devices are on one page but other than that it’s perfect

It took literally two minutes for us to set this up and it has fixed all the issues we have not only inside the house but now we can cut the front yard and back yard now because of this wifi extender. Doesn't get much simpler this this. So glad we bought this.
