The signal LED remains red, even though it's extending the network. The ability to extend is weak - it barely extends a network within an 1100 square foot house.

Thank you for your review. We're happy to hear you were able to set up the extender. In the future, we recommend considering our intuitive TP-Link Tether app which allows you to set up and manage the extender from your smartphone.
If you haven't noticed a significant improvement in WiFi coverage after installing the extender, we recommend relocating the unit to a position in your home where the router's WiFi signal is sufficiently strong; yet far enough from the router to effectively extend its range. Please verify the RE status LED is indicating a solid connection.

The setup was not as painless as the instructions and ads claimed, the controlling app being both a bit buggy and very slow to respond. But once it was set up, it has worked flawlessly, giving me good reception through the half of the house that used to be a total dead zone.

TP link 750 Internet speed extenders

This supposed to speed up internet up to 750mbs but I have never seen it reaches even closed to 100mbs. I barely get internet service in the dead spot I bought it for. It is not a good buy.
