OVerall it is working as desired. I like that it has a smart plug built-in. My real complaint is that it does not leave adequate access to the other plug in the wall.

I already have a couple wifi extenders but this 1 is unique because it works with my TP-Link smart bulb that's on my hallway lamp (see pic 01). It's also geared to link to Amazon Alexa and Echo but I don't have either to test this with. It's pretty much a plug and use extender, once I connected it to my wifi router and smartphone (pic 02). I didn't need to pull up the extender's arched antenna since I plugged this just across the room where my wifi router is.

The TP-Link works fairly well. However, the design is such that the 2nd plug is covered up. Sure, it has a plug which controls whatever is plugged in to it. You control the plug through a free app. But it still covers up the other outlet, so you are left with 1 anyway. The plug is best used for a lamp so you can control when it comes on and when it goes off.

Easy to setup with the Kasa app. Works great with Amazon Echo.

After reviewing the advertised spec on this extender, once received I tested it and did not get the speed I was expected.

I live in a small (900 sq ft) apart then tans this helps for part of my apartment where the wall blocks the signal from the router.

Have had this device for a while now and it has helped to have wifi throughout my whole house. Does the job well.

Did nothing. Set up correctly and nothing. Bought two just to make sure

Was hoping this extender would solve dead zone issues. Unfortunately it did not. Setup was pretty straightforward that’s the only good thing I can say about product.
