Initially this was a good product, then with a few days problems developed. With my son's experience he was able to determine it needed an update that wasnt done by the manufacturer. Since then everything is great and running wifi and cabled internet without any problems.

Used as an access point and it works great. There is an access point setting that you can select so you don't need to adjust any other settings. I could not connect to router while plugged in after selecting access point mode and router rebooted. I installed the app and was able to connect wirelessly to continue setup. All you need to do is input your wireless network info and you are good to go.

Works great; would have preferred a list for QoS

It manages our home network very well, and the software is easy to use. My only complaint is the Quality of Service (QoS) function. You can turn on/off priority for certain devices, which is fine. However if you turn high priority on two devices, then what? I would have preferred to just permanently order all the items in terms of highest priority to lowest.

Reliable Performance with Plenty of Features

This is one of the smallest, lightest, and cheapest AC1750 Wi-Fi routers I have used. The C7 does not draw much power, which is a nice bonus. This is also apparent in the temperature of the unit when I have multiple devices attached, as it barely gets warm to the touch.
Setup was very straightforward on this Wi-Fi router. I do recommend updating the firmware to the latest version before you configure it, which saves you from having to do it again after the update. The latest version also seems to be a lot more stable overall. The C7 has all the modern and advanced features you would expect to find in an AC1750 Wi-Fi router. I like that these includes two USB ports, perfect for a print server and attaching an external hard drive to. The 4 Ethernet ports are also Gigabit speed!
In terms of performance, the C7 works very well. The 3 antennas provide great coverage and range. I found that having the outer antennas at a 45 degree angle and the middle antenna standing straight up, worked best for me. I am also getting really good speeds with near hardwired speeds when the C7 is in line of site.
Overall the C7 has been very stable and reliable. The advanced features in a small and simple form factor are its biggest strengths.
