This is probably one the best routers I have purchased yet. The performance and ease of set up is is well worth the moderate price. I also bought the same brand extender because our house has upstairs and basement. It performs as well as the router.

Easy set up, took a few minutes. Old router quit working, not sure if it just died or if my ISP did upgrades. Longer range than the old one, and no buffering with streaming.

So far, so good, super easy to connect and configure for simple connection. I bought to split bands for some appliances that only work under 2.4ghz. Antennas look funky(my internet is in the living room), kind of hard to hide...

Purchased this router to replace our old N1000 router, and because we had to many wireless products dragging it down. Very pleased with the increased speed and range of the Archer router. Connecting multiple wireless items to this router was a breeze.

Best router of 2023, Works with Google Fiber

I absolutely love this router. The Tether iPhone app works flawlessly. Unlike my old router's night hawk app, that never worked. I am using this with Google Fiber 1gig internet. I am not using the provided Google router at all. The TP-Link ax3000 is easy to set up and manage, including access control lists, i.e., Mac filtering. Wireless speeds are outstanding, and I am so glad I switched to this router. I also love that you can schedule a restart of the router every week on a specific day and time. There is so much to love with this router: ease of setup and management, wifi speed, coverage, and not randomly dropping connections.

    Beats its Linksys Predecessor

I purchased this to replace a relatively new Linksys router than had been troublesome since it was purchased. With this router I am routinely getting around 50 more mbps than with Linksys (Down on WiFi: up to 75% of speed delivered by ISP, UP: up to 100% of speed delivered by ISP). Unlike Linksys, easy setup via computer web page (or app, but I used web page). My only complaint is there are only 3 Ethernet ports on the back. I'm probably going to need a switch.

I bought this router to replace the one that came with the Verizon installation. The old one kept dropping the internet. Since installing the TP-Link I've never lost the internet. The installation was straight forward and easy.

So far so good had a linksys and it went out tried this from the reviews as well as the price being very good, works fine no issues , will see about longevity down the road , only issue was pairing it to a extender made by another brand

So glad I replaced my Spectrum router with this!

It was easy to set up using the instructions provided and the companion app and has been a massive improvement on reducing the amount of interruptions I was experiencing using Spectrum's router. Since I mostly use this for gaming and want the most reliable connection as possible, I have it connected via wired ethernet. However, I do use the wifi for my phone and some other devices and have had no issues (I live in a small apartment though, so can't comment on range).

Purchased this router because my old router was only capable of 300Mbps through the WAN port. This one gives me my full 1 Gig through the 2.5 Gbps port with bandwidth to spare in case I upgrade my fiber speed in the future. Easy setup, and a nice user interface. I'm only using the web interface, and not the dedicated TP-Link Tether app so I can't comment on it's usefulness. The good thing was I was able to bypass my crappy AT&T Residential Gateway by cloning my MAC address to the router and connecting my ONT to a switch, then connecting the switch to the router. Since I've only had this a month I can't speak for the longevity of the router, but so far it has been rock solid with no dropouts.
