    Connection Is Incredibly Stable

To keep this brief, I would 110% recommend this router. I live in an apartment complex with a supplied internet provider. I had one other router and the eero mesh before getting this one. I have to say the eero was disappointing because you can’t force 5GHz connections. The other one was just a cheaper Netgear router and was lackluster. Both of those systems had some iffy performance in regards to stability. I found myself buffering on YouTube/Netflix quite often. I only have 100 Mbps up & down so I started to suspect that I was suffering because of my speeds. I almost called to upgrade my speeds but I picked up this TP Link router first. Things changed after that. This router offers a very stable connection, plus it’s tri band with two 5GHz connections and one 2.4GHz which is great. I haven’t had any issues with buffering so far. I force most of my devices to use the 5GHz connections (unless not compatible) and it works like a charm. This is a great router and saved me from needing to pay an extra however many dollars per month just to upgrade my upload and download speeds through my ISP. I’m very grateful for the cost savings. My one complaint was the setup. I couldn’t find the device on the app for like 10-20 minutes. I ended up rebooting twice and plugging my ethernet cable into the 2.5 Gbps port instead of the 1 Gbps. It found my device shortly after that. The remainder of the setup was pretty standard protocol and not difficult.

I have nothing bad to say about this router! Coverage is amazing in my 2,000+ sqf house! Had to do some tweaking with the wifi to get gigibit speeds but overall amazing router!

Went from using a suddenlink router to this router and it’s night and day difference. The 5g bands are blazing fast inside the house (upstairs and down) but only 2.4g stays connected across the backyard and out to the street, but that’s to be expected due to 5g limited range. I shopped for a router for a month (mesh routers, Wi-Fi extenders, and everything else) and this router works perfect. Make sure you connect with a good modem

Upgraded from a TP-Link AC1750. Needed a new router to pair with a couple new WIFI 6 devices and my new Gigabit modem with 2.5 Gbps port. My house is about 1560 sq. ft. single story with a basement. The Archer 3200 is placed in the center of my finished basement and provides good coverage throughout the house, on both levels. I do get some signal loss, when moving farther away from the router, but it still remains quite strong and gives me good speed. The router is easy to set up and my WIFI 6 devices always default to the fastest speed available. My older devices seem to be operating at slightly faster speeds also. I have not really played around with any of the advanced features yet. So I can't really speak to them. As I use more of the advanced features, I will try and update my review to reflect my experience. My initial experience with the Archer 3200 is excellent and I would highly recommend it.

Great signal, high powered, i have no issues with any wifi throughout my house of 2000 sq feet. Only issue i have is whenever power goes out or i have to relocate router, i have to reset or call to help get router set up again. Other then that this router is a beast

I only use this as an access point, so I can't speak to it's function as a router, but I haven't had any issues with it. The throughput is good. It handles my household's needs well.

I didn't realize how much better my internet could be. Now my Laptop, my phone and my printer all work so much better. I thought I needed to replace my printer and phone because they were not working as well as they should. After installing this router, they are all working just fine.

I moved from Spectrum to Verizon Fios. I am not on a gig connection so I was picking up the router rental. Consequently, I decided to buy my own router and return the Verizon router. In addition, I was also facing some issues with the Verizon router as my TP Link extender would not recognize the signal coming from the Verizon router. I have no modem. The Cat 6 ethernet cable connects the OTN directly to the router. Once the connections were in place and I booted up the router, it recognized the signal with minimum time delay. Setting up is very simple thru either web or Teether app. (I used the web). I live in apartment and all my streaming and mobile devices are clearly showing improved performance. I have experienced far less to no lag / buffering than before. I did note that the second 5 Ghz stream's signal strength is not that strong but I am not using it, so it is no problem for me. I have owned this router for about a month. So far all is fine.

I purchased this router a few weeks ago, it has exceeded my expectations. I bought this to replace an existing Archer 1750 router, as we needed something that could keep up with 20+ devices and 4k streaming with minimal issues. This router handles the demands of my household with no issues. Some of the reviews mentioned the lack of customizing the settings. This router has the ability to modify down to granular settings, by default the Admin site is set to basic, you'll need to toggle to advanced to open up all the settings. For example, I wanted a dedicated SSID for my bedroom TV so that it would be the only item connected to ensure seamless streaming. I went into advanced, turned off the tri-band and now have three SSIDs available to connect to, the 2.4, 5g, and the secondary 5g. This router is also mesh ready, I paired it with a TP Link extender that was mesh compatible and now have a solid connection throughout my home without having to switch between router and extender. TP-Link customer support is solid as well. I have fiber internet and wanted to use the router directly from my ethernet wall outlet, without the use of a modem. After receiving my PPPoE credentials from my internet provider, I called TP-Link and they talked me through the settings to configure this router saving me a modem rental fee.

I have had TP-Link routers for years. This was to upgrade our AC1900, which still works but wifi speeds were not as good as they could be. Most of devices are new, however beware. In our case, I had to return this. The software is super easy to use and gets setup very quick. The bad, if you have any old 2.4ghz device that can not be manually setup then you might have a probably with it getting to connect. The TP-link software while great, this model does not have any fine tuning. We have to older smart devices that do not like smart connect or the wifi band ssid sharing. There are some ways around this issue, but then the smart connect feature of most wifi6 devices is useless. With this tri-band you can create 3 separate ssids that will get your older and new devices up and running, the problem is now they are all potentially on separate networks. That's the kicker. If you have different devices on 3 different networks then when it comes to using wifi apps you have to switch ssids to connect with those devices. Very annoying and well with the older AC1900 router that wasn't a problem. If you are a tuner, this Archer 3200 is not for you, unless you change the software to DD-WRT which nulls your warranty.

I'm really happy with this router, so far. It was easy to setup and has been working great. I haven't tried to use the additional features. I bought this to replace my Netgear router that had decided to start frequently requiring a reboot. One feature that is nice is that it optionally aggregates the 2G and 5G networks into a single network, so I don't have to setup devices to connect to one or the other.

Of course there are several wifi 5 alternatives and those that overcharge for unnecessary features and the "gaming" moniker, but this satisfies most people's needs and then some for the price range. Most people and areas in the US only have ISP that sell wifi plans up to 500 or 1000 mbps. A lot of these routers are advertsed up to 10,000 over the average household bandwidth! Why spend extra for speed you can't even use! Going back to this router though, I was apprehensive of the smart connect and auto-device switching between the three bands. Now that I've used it, I have to say it's super convent! Not only is it automatically switching based on network congestion, but also based on range! If you are too far, it will switch automatically from the 5ghz band to the 2.4 to give you a better connection! I have always had routers that you can manage form a web browser, but this is my firs that utilizes an app. It makes it super simple and all of the settings are within reach in the palm of your hand. So far so good, and I highly reccomend this smart router!
