Probably the best coverage I've ever had with a Consumer level router and great throughput. I have had issues with it recognizing our very high speed internet connection and had to manually set the wan port to gigabit or it will default to lower speeds. I wish TPLink would update the firmware more often but other than that it has been a good performer.

Router speed and coverage are great in my 1400 square feet home. Setup and instructions were great. Like the mesh capabilities. Works well with same brand wifi extender. Overall pleased with purchase and the price was right.

Before my internet loose signal every single day on peek hours (4:00 - 6:00 pm) and now is faster than ever. I have spectrum 200mbps and now is almost half of fast. Plus it has parental control and home care protection. Good price for all features it has.

This has been a life saver for our home networking needs. With four children virtual learning and two working from home parents we welcomed the upgrade and speeds this router has brought. It makes working, learning, viewing tv, and video gaming a breeze.

Excellent performance. I previously had a Google router which was good, but surprisingly the wireless streaming performance is even better and the wired Ethernet router is excellent. Spend the extra money for this one and you’ll be glad you did.

Works way better than the Netgear nighthawk router as they charge for software updates as you can’t get them to download or it makes itstop connecting to internet

Worked great until WAN Port glitched

I have returned this router within BestBuy's return window. The Good: Router performance was awesome, reached corners of ~4000sq house and a detached garage without issue. Easy to use, very fast, handled upper 30 devices with 4 kids streaming class work (streaming Microsoft Teams and Zoom), teacher wife doing virtual teaching one day a week and me working from home. The Bad: WAN Port would randomly go to "unplugged" / "disconnected" depending on where you looked (iOS app or Webpage). When problem occurred, all devices would still connect to the Archer but the Archer would not connect to the AT&T provided router (1GB Fiber Arris BGW210-700). Note this AT&T router has been in use for months and has been feeding my pre-wired house (only bypassing it to get better WiFi range). Regardless, I swapped cables, put a dumb switch between the Arris and the Archer but problem remained. Contacted TP-Link Support and really didn't get that far (was told to force 1GB Full Duplex or 100MB Full Duplex). Didn't think a 4 day old router should require that. Unplugged the WAN port and plugging back in (either side) did not resolve, had reboot or power-off the Archer. I really did like this router and wanted it to work, but after having problems and seeing other reviews with similar issues (some reviews indicated worked great for months then WAN port failed). I decided to return and go with a different brand.
