We never opened the box and returned it unused since we got a mesh router instead. If we were going to stick with this style, this would have been a good one. In the end we needed a mesh style to cover more of the house.

Good app. Unfortunately we had a laptop that could not find the router, tried everything. Tried the customer service and waited over 45 minutes, just too long in that side. We returned it.

Hi,
Thank you for your review. If all of your devices connected just fine to the router except for one, the root cause was likely on that device, and perhaps it simply needed to have its network profile reset. We're sorry to hear you decided to return the router; we would've appreciated another opportunity to follow up with you and help address your concerns.
In the future, please feel free to email [email protected] and we'll gladly have a Support Agent follow up with you directly.

WiFi 6 with bidirectional OFDMA. Running it in conjunction with my ISP supplied wifi router. Using the routing capabilities of the AX6000 and ISP supplied wifi as access point only. All my IoT things on ISP supplied router, only WiFi 6 devices on the AX6000. Great results.

I’ve been running TP Link equipment for some time and have found them to be the most stable. My previous (soon to be current again) AX3000 has been rock solid. I was looking for a router that had more bandwidth and up/down capability, processing etc. This router would have been the one except for the fact you cannot turn QoS off and it absolutely kills your heavy load speeds. I’ve played with all of the QoS settings and just can’t get anything to work. Why didn’t they put an on/off switch for QoS like everyone else does you ask? That’s a great question that seems many people have on this router and TP Link doesn’t care to fix it.
So like my other reviews on other routers this one will be going back as well and the hunt will continue.
It’s very disappointing that one super small setting that is fixable with a firmware update (if they cared to listen to their customers) did this otherwise solid router in.
