I always get nervous when it's time to upgrade routers. But my other brand was 6 years old and after upgrading our computers i thought it was time. I loved my other router and the thought of going with a different brand was intimidating. BUT the price was too good to pass on. so I went for it. I have to say it was the easiest switch I have ever done when it comes to routers. I have a lot of devices around the house connected and by using the same SSID and password as on my old router, I did not have to reconnect anything. The setup was easy and my Centurylink modem connected without issue. I knew this router is overkill for the internet speed we get through our provider, but to my surprise, my speed was actually faster then what we have ever experienced, and the upload speed tripled. It took about 30 minutes to setup and I am very happy so far with the ease of switchover and performance.

Happier with this than I expected to be. I loved my asus router until it failed. Tplink was not at the top of my list. But the reviews are right, it’s excellent for the money! Out performs my asus. Range and reliability have improved. Much easier UI, even though I appreciate the extra features of Asus.

It's a router. It works. It's a bit too big and takes up a lot of room. Wasn't horrible to set up.

This router was easy to install and works excellent. Setup guest password works great.

This router replaced a Netgear nighthawk with 2.4 and 5.0 GHz bands set up was very easy. The app worked very well to help set-up. The range has been good both inside and outside in a two story when centrally placed. Over the month it has required two resets. The price was very good given the extra Best Buy Plus discount. I would recommend this and give 4.7 out of 5 given more control.

So far this is living up to expectations, excellent speed and coverage. The only issue I have is the interface. There are certain things that can only do accessed through a browser and certain things that can only be accessed through the app. I do not like the fact that to complete the setup process I was required to use both. The user interface is no where near the best, it is not intuitive and you are required to search for certain things. After setting parental controls, which you can ONLY set via the app, I was locked out of them while attempting to change the 10pm bed time the app applied without my knowledge. After leaving the app open for over 10 but less than 30, I don't know how long as I got called away, I looked back at my phone and the parental controls settings were accessible.

Great product! Easy to setup and use, especially for gamers and work from home employees.

Excellent tri band coverage on my 2 story house, plus guest bands. Even extends out to my back Florida room. Easy to use app makes setup a breeze. Priced right. A bit big and clunky but antenna are adjustable.

Wow. This made a major difference. Easy to configure and install. No longer need to use ethernet cable to ensure connectivity. Solved a lot of issue

I’ve used TP-Link wifi switches in the past, and great success with them. So, after some research I chose this router for my business (and another one for my home). Fantastic router overall. Easy setup. Super fast speeds. Great coverage.

I'm not a techie, but it was easy to set up and it is much faster than my old router. Good range also. I can go approx 150 yards from the house on the side the router is setting and maybe 50-60 yards on the other side of the house and still get a useable signal.

Has work great at my home. My wife works from home and it has improved connectivity. The range of the WiFi also has improved without an extender. My son plays on the Xbox ,and he has also shown improvement in not lagging and connecting faster. Overall a great router easy to set up and maintain up to date.

It was a total game-changer for me. I work from home in cloud-based technology and was having constant issues with the router provided by my internet provider. Teams calls dropped several times a day, and when working through a client's VPI, there was a crazy lag. My office is a converted carport, so the signal has to go through a brick wall. With this bad animal, my speed is almost double, there are no dropped calls in a week of use, and working through the client VPI is just as fast as a direct log-in. The only complaints are from my wife, who is unhappy with how it looks.

This wifi router provides very good coverage for the whole home. I was not sure about the signal strength and could not decide between this one or a mesh wifi network, which needs a placement of multiple nodes and therefore higher cost. I decided to give this one a try and it works very well. It could even reach the garage without any problem. Youtube streaming works well. Besides, it has a tri-band feature which should be future proof. This router also provides a flexibility to switch between cable or fiber system.

The TP-Link has made an incredible difference in streaming, working, playing and smart appliances! Replacing our old router with this one was a "smart" choice for us and I highly recommend TP-Link.

I love this router. I can pick up my wifi all over my house with great speed and many devices on at a time.

I'd always went with Netgear never had a problem until the last few years. I went with ASUS at one time cuz it was recommended it was not worth it either. Finally I asked one of the guys at Best buy and he said to try this one I had never heard of it before but I gave it a try it was not an expensive one either which kind of worried me. Let me tell you I have had no problems with my internet sense even when the power goes down I don't have to reset it or do anything it comes right back up on its own I love it I would recommend this to anyone save your money get this you will be so happy.
