So far the router has been working properly and hasn’t given any issues. 4x 2.5 GB Ethernet real does help with keeping all devices connected without any noticeable latency.

After brought the router only 4 months, the wifi totally can't detected by any devices. Contact TP-Link Technical Support for RMA, the status still under "Troubleshooting" after 1 week and There is no wifi at my home. I use tp-link more than 10 years but I would going with a trusted brand (Netgear) over TP-Link for my next router.

Hello,
It sounds like you requested a replacement through the warranty portal. This does have a manual review process in which an agent takes ownership of the case and contacts the customer to complete any required troubleshooting. This process can take a few days before the customer is contacted. The Holidays could have unfortunately added to this delay. What I would recommend, since I do not know that TKID or your email address, is to contact Support via Phone to inquire about the status. Phone support is free and available 24/7 at 866-225-8139.

I purchased this router to replace the Verizon router rental and it was easy to set up and has surpassed expectations. It has outperformed Verizon's signal throughout our house. No buffering or lost signal which I experienced w Verizon.

Setting up the Archer router did not take much time at all. I used the mobile app as I had prior network devices that I’ve setup in the past. The app guides you through the setup step by step. Wifi range is much better than the ISPs provided combo modem.

Setup was a breeze, however, I have an issue with internet randomly dropping and then coming back. This affects my phone which switches between the 2.4 & 5Ghz band. It adversely affects video streaming also. Tried switching channels and other internet recommendations, firmware is up to date

I hava an ASUS RT-AX82U. I thought i would try upgrade to wifi 7. It works great on 6G devices but the 2.4G and 5G range and speeds are a downgrade. Because I have less 6G devices so its a return.

If you're looking to get a blazingly fast, future-proofed router for any task (like gaming) that requires maximum speed and dependability, then this is your choice. Upload and download speeds for me were quite literally off the charts, in the sense that I don't think my Internet service provider could match the speeds that this router is capable of managing. Anyone with premium Internet service in a market that permits the highest speeds should seriously consider this. There are ample ports and connections, too, with 4 2.5 Gbps ports in the back and an included USB 3.0 port if you're using something an attached storage drive. And setup, via the Tether app, is effortless. You can get insane amounts of speed and monitor performance (and updates) with minimal difficulty via the app.
Coverage is excellent as well. My current setup had a bit of signal decay on the 5 GHz network when you were at the farthest point away from the router in the house, but this Archer Pro blasts out the 5 GHz, 2.5 GHz, and even 6 GHz frequencies with outstanding amounts of coverage. I can easily access all three bands from my townhome community parking lot a considerable distance away from the router setup. Without exaggeration, for people in small to medium sized homes, this one router could replace an entire mesh network setup.
And, as said before, the upstream / downstream and upload / download speeds simply matched the maximum my ISP was giving me under my current plan. This is the first router I've owned where I'd need to upgrade my Internet service plan just to take advantage of the speeds on offer.
And the presence of WiFi 7 means there's a degree of future proofing that warrants the cost. With easy firmware updates and WiFi 7-compatible tech still in the process of being rolled out, this is a device you'll be using for a loooong time to come.
I actually really like the design, too. The form factor is more like a mini desktop, but since big antenna arrays usually expand the footprint of other routers I've used, I had an easier time finding a home for this device in my networking setup than I would have for something that was longer and had six rods protruding from it.
This is, in short, one of the best routers I've ever owned. It's extremely fast, has great signal coverage for three bands, is easy to setup (both in terms of software and physically), and has robust connections that can handle any speed demands I'm even capable of using. It truly is, for me, off the charts. Strongly recommended for anyone who needs speed and reliability. You won't be disappointed, and, with WiFi 7, you'll be in the pleasant position of watching technology adapt to *your* equipment.

The speeds are great but compared to my old Netgear wifi 5 modem/router combo this device had more frequent Wifi drops. The router would disconnect often and the wifi coverage range wasn’t great. I’d lose wifi at the other end of my house where as before I didn’t with my older router. Overall, wifi 7 is great but i would recommend going with a trusted brand (Netgear) over TP-Link.
