I have to say that this TP Link wireless router is most excellent both its range and performance. I noticed an immediate difference in the speed offered by my cable modem and between devices over the local network in my home. As for range it has proven to be well above average for a wireless access point. For example I have this installed in my living room and it provides rock steady coverage to the notorious “dark spot” in my master bedroom at the far back of my house. That alone makes this wireless router worth it. Streaming 4K video is outstanding with little to no buffering on multiple devices at the same time from different services. I usually leave SlingTV on CNN streaming via my AppleTV while working. In the living room other family members will have the Roku TV running Hulu or Netflix in 4K at the same time while the youngest will have his PS5 going full bore in his room. All this heavy usage without a hiccup. There is one minor quibble that is not TP-Links fault. If I am running the microwave in the kitchen then the connection comes and goes. It’s only happened a couple of times but I feel it worth the mention. Overall this is an excellent wireless router.

I have been searching for a new router for several months as I have been “renting” our internet providers equipment for years, and they recently raised the price for renting substantially. I received the TP-Link Archer and have been very pleased that I did. First and foremost, I don’t have to rent this to enjoy internet. Again, I had been researching the MANY options available and the first thing I wanted was something that was simplistic and easy to connect to, this TP-Link router is that. I installed the App and it made the process very simple, as it states, “in 3 easy steps” and that was exactly what I did, it was 3 very easy and my biggest fear of configuring the modem, was put to rest, because you simply follow the steps laid out in the App. I also like the included Home Shield that is included, I have been having issues w/ our old, rented router that I had to purchase a VPN, which I like the protection, but I was having issues w/ connecting to sites, cameras, etc, that we already had and w/ the added protection of the Home Shield on this TP-Link Archer BE11000 router and the App that I now have on all my devices, its super easy to use and to know that we are protected. I have two grandchildren and I really like the parental controls that TP-Link has w/ this router, my grandson is always visiting an its comforting to know that when he does visit and brings his iPad and he connects to our system that I don’t have to worry about the content that he is able to watch or download. The one thing that I was a little turned off w/ was the physical size of the router, the old, rented router we had (which was much older than I realized) was a lot smaller in stature, granted, this may not be a turnoff for some people, I had built a shelf to house it inside our entertainment cabinet and will now have to made some modifications. And while it not the fault of TP-Link it was something I was hoping it would be around the same size and not as “bulky”. That is just a personal preference and it has absolutely nothing to do w/ the performance of this router. If you are in the market for a very easy to setup and use router, I highly recommend the TP-Link Archer BE11000 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 7 router.

It has been many years since I have upgraded my Wi-Fi router. Part of the reason is because finding one that can support all my devices is tough. At any time, I will have 30+ devices hooked to my Wi-Fi including multiple game consoles. The TP link Archer definitely lives up to the hype. Starting with the design, one of my favorite things is that it stands straight up like a book and does not have any antennas sticking off. I keep my router near my TV, but I am limited on space for it. With my old router I had to put a side stand next to the TV just for it because there was not enough room for the TV. That is not the case with this one, which is great. The Tether APP make changing settings on the fly a breeze. However, I found that setting it up initially on a PC was a little easier. The amount of adjustment and protection this router offers is endless. This router supports the all new Wi-Fi 7. It also has a Tri-band antenna which supports 2.4 ghz, 5 ghz, and 6ghz. Not all devices support 5 and 6 ghz yet. But this router allows you to have one Wi-Fi network that will automatically switch between the bands to be the most compatible with each device. Or you can choose to have separate networks. Whether you need a router for your basic school or work function, or the most extreme gaming, the Archer is the router for you. If you have a large house and a ton of devices than this router can support, it all without any problems. All well you can have peace of mind that the built in protection and defense will keep your safe while on the internet.

First off, let me say wow I have an aging mesh wireless network with roughly 50 devices connected. Going all-in on a smart home has its requirements When I upgraded my internet service from what was fast 7 years ago to what is fast now, my router became the bottleneck So…I did my homework and bought the new TP-Link router Packaging is what you would expect, and they were considerate enough to provide an applicable Cat8 cable to use - however it is short Putting my existing router in bridge mode, I then set-up the TP-Link router using their “Tether” iPhone app. Honestly, it could not been easier or faster Once the TP was up and running and my existing network was still connecting to the legacy devices, it was time to move the stationary and high bandwidth devices such as streaming TV, laptops and iPads over to the TP-Link. Low bandwidth stay on the legacy mesh The entire process took less than 30 minutes and I saw between a 2-5x increase in speed on the streaming services connected to the TP router and no degradation on the devices on the mesh My last step is to upgrade the remaining cat 6 cables to cat 8 This will squeeze the last amount of speed and make my network last another 7 years

TP Link’s Customer Service is Superb. They helped me everytime they could , everytime i asked. Especially Aaron , he was amazing. Never hsd such amazing customer seevice when it came to a product. Truly Unmatched , Amazing customer seevice.
