    Amazing product! The staff at my local Best Buy were amazing with assisting me in my product purchase! They were so very knowledgeable and were able to answer all of my questions which I really appreciated!

    Great router. Easy to set up and control through the app. Does have issues every once in a while where the WiFi will randomly cut out and come back if you are using WIFI 7. Other than that I have had no problems pushing over 1gb per second through it to multiple devices.

    Keeps losing internet connection, and the ability to turn off it's lights confuse other people into thinking it's not working

      Thank you for your review. If you are experiencing Internet drops, we first recommend contacting your Internet provider to verify whether there are any service outage issues, and to have them run a diagnostic test on your line.

      Additionally, please ensure the Archer Router is not connected directly in series with another router (e.g., your ISP gateway) without first configuring the other router as a bridge, or removing it entirely (if feasible in your setup).

    Depending on your isp you might get a double NAT which will restrict your muli-player gameplay

    I live in a house that's less than 1000 square feet, and the range couldn't reach the other side of the house. Now it was located on the far side of the house so if you have a very small place and it's centrally located, you might be okay. But I returned it and got an older model that only goes up to WiFi 6e, but the range is far superior and I'm getting the same speeds as before. Also saved money! So don't waste your time. I do like the app and it's capabilities. So 2 stars for that.

    Defective unit.

    The app had problems with the router (the app could not find the router but the phone was connected to it) so I used the browser to try to setup the router. The router would power off after 30 seconds during the setup and would require a reboot to try again. After several tries I decided that it was defective and returned to the store for a refund. I have another TP-Link router that works great and hoped to add this unit to it.

      Hi KeithK,

      Thank you for your review. If you are having difficulty connecting to the Internet after setting up the router, it may be that your modem's MAC (Media Access Control) binding needs to be released and renewed so it can provide an IP address (and Internet) to the Router. This can typically be done using the following steps:

      1. Unplug the power from both your router and cable modem
      2. Unplug the coax cable from the modem
      3. Re-connect power ONLY to your cable modem
      4. Wait until the cable modem is fully booted, then re-connect coax
      5. Re-connect power to the router and connect it to the modem via Ethernet

      This process should release and renew the MAC binding, so your modem can provide connectivity to the router.
