Product works great. Easy to setup. Took a few minutes to sync with my router. Wifi extends all through my home.

This WiFi extender works extremely well and significantly improves internet coverage throughout the house. After setting it up, the signal became much stronger in areas that previously had weak or no connection. Streaming, browsing, and video calls are now smooth and uninterrupted. The device is compact, reliable, and delivers exactly what it promises.

We kicked Spectrum's overpriced TV service to the curb, and went with wireless DirecTV streaming. We had never really used our smart TV in the living room for its smart features, but soon discovered buffering issues, and "no internet connection." I promised the wife a wi-fi extender would fix it in a heartbeat. The Netgear Nighthawk was a dud from the word "go." To be generous, the app is a piece of crap. Best Buy took it back, and I picked up this TP-Link. Just follow the directions, and you will be a happy camper. Maybe 10 minutes after setup, I was plugging it in several locations to see if one might be better than another. I got some 45 feet from my Spectrum router (we retained their internet) and never found a location that didn't produce all green lights. No buffering; no dropped internet; wife is happy, and life is good. Three TV's, a laptop, a tablet, and two camera doorbells work flawlessly. Thanks, Best Buy and TP-Link.

It was surprisingly easy to set it up to work with my TP-Link router to form a mesh network. It's working through 5 walls upstairs across my house. The only downside is there's no option for ethernet backlink to the router, but you can do ethernet from the extender to a device.

I bought this for a weak WiFi signal in my house. Setup was seamless and easy with the app walking me through everything step by step which only took about 5 minutes. WiFi signal is now strong and we have no more issues. Great purchase I wish I did a while ago.

This worked like a charm to extend the wifi signal beyond the original signal. I set this up just at the edge of the original signal and it blasted it quite a bit further -- through walls, etc. to a detached garage apartment. Easy setup. My only complaint is that the unit gets very warm. Hot, even. I don't leave it plugged in all the time because of that so it's a little bit of a hassle.

Including my finished basement , where my office is located, I have four floors of my home for my wifi to reach throughout. I also work remotely from home so I have had issues with holding video calls from my office as the modem & router can only be located on the top floor due to the wiring in my home.
You will need to plug it in first right next to your modem and router for it to connect, then you can move it wherever you want.
Once I plugged it in I immediately attempted a video call in my basement. Initially I did not notice much difference, however it has seemed to improve over time. None of my video calls have been dropped in the basement office, and another good thing about it is that the app helps you locate an ideal location for the wifi extender.
All in all, it seems to be adding some efficiency and speed to our home wifi, and with four floors, several iPads, smart TVs, Alexa devices, smart appliances, laptops, and smartphones. I can't say it is a huge game changer worth the higher price tag (I feel), but it is decent and does the job for sure.
Thank you for your review. If you haven't noticed a significant improvement in Wi-Fi coverage after installing the extender, we recommend relocating the unit to a position within your home where the router's Wi-Fi signal is sufficiently strong; yet far enough from the router to effectively extend its range. Please verify the RE status LED is indicating a solid connection.
We also recommend ensuring the extender's firmware is fully up to date using the steps outlined in FAQ 1406 on our official website: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/1406/
If you would like assistance with any of these steps, please reach out to our free support team using any of the resources included with the product, or from our official website, and we'll gladly have a Support Agent follow up with you directly.
Thank you, TP-Link Support

This extender has been a game changer at our house. We suffered from glitching internet TV and were to the point we were going to change carriers. Once we installed this extender, it fixed all our issues. It was easy to set up and I’m not techy!
Made the wirelss cameras work reliably and faster.

We have some Amazon Blink cameras place around the outside of our house. A couple of the cameras in the front worked when we put them up, but stopped working a short time later. It turned out they were right at the limit of the range of the wifi router. Adding this range extender not only allowed the cams to be reliable, they also tended to alert faster when something triggered them. It was an excellent investment.
It was easy to set up. We used WPS to add it to the network. We did have to enable WPS on the router, which is the case with some routers.

Great extender, Easy hook up. We needed a solution to get our floodlight camera to work again after changing Wi-Fi. The floodlight was about 35 ft away from the router. We placed the extender in the garage near a window and now have great signal outside.
