Excellent, perfect, love it. Easy setup with the Tether app. Came back two weeks later and changed my in-house setup to include a TP-Link EAP650 desk mount access point. Now the modem is passthrough only and the TP-Link covers the whole house - TVs, computers, servers, phone, iPads, etc.

I bought this WiFi extender to improve the connection for my security cameras, and it works great. Setup was quick and easy, and the signal is much stronger now. My cameras stay connected without dropouts. Good value for the price.

I had previously purchased this item a couple years ago and had never had any issues with it. I needed another and purchased another. I like the ease of the set up and use of this product. Does exactly what i need it for!

Did a great job boosting my WiFi signal and set up was easy.

Very cool concept for Wi-Fi extension and tethering devices to your network. We have a 3300 sq ft house with our router in a bedroom upstairs. Down stairs away from the router we have two TV’s and Sonos audio along with some smart lights. We also sometimes work from our laptops downstairs so we do require decent bandwidth from our home to power all devices. We have three people living here full time all with smart phones and tablets / laptops / smart televisions. Our current internet plan is for up to two hundred gigabytes and testing shows we get more or get less depending. We did not experience drop outs in our Wi-Fi probably because our 3300sq Ft home is two stories so the routers signal travels through everything. Anyways that’s our living situation so we got this Wi-Fi extender hoping that we would notice a difference or at least to make our signal stronger. It was very easy to set up you simply plug it into your router and then you plug it half way between your router and the rest of your home. After testing the signal I determined that we maintain a constant signal in the downstairs area much better then prior installation. We feel comfortable streaming on multiple devices without fear of a drop out. The unit looks nice and is not no I able except at night there is a blue light that illuminates on the side of the unit. The packing was nice and the instructions were simple which I appreciated. I would recommend to a friend and for the price I think it’s good insurance for your homes media especially if you live in a larger home.

My internet provider said they would no longer support the Wi-Fi extender that I purchased from them years ago. They have a proprietary setup so you cannot plug in a third-party extender. Of course, I could pay $10 monthly for them to install and maintain a system of theirs. No! So, I started looking at Range Extenders. I ordered the TP-Link - AX3000. Before I installed it, I used my provider's app to go through my house and see how strong the signal was with their Wi-Fi extender. They have three levels of strength denoted by color—green, yellow, and red. Some of my house was green, and some areas were yellow. The front yard was yellow, and the backyard was completely red. There was no signal in the backyard. After I installed the TP-Link range extender, I ran the same tests. The signal strength was green all through the house and into the front yard AND backyard. I had to get about 40-50 ft. out in my backyard before the signal turned yellow. I have had zero issues with the TP-Link range extender and the installation was easy.

I dont leave many reviews but!!! This Is A Must Buy! I purchased xfinity Xfi Pods to help my ring doorbell devices get a better signal. They were horrible did not even connect or help. I googled best extender and this was rated 1. When i got it setup was super fast with the app. It immediately connected and improved the signal. I did have to move the extender around the house to get the best signal example: bedroom, bathroom, garage. I found the garage provided the best reception. There is a test signal option in the app that tells you if your extender is in a good spot. Once i found the golden spot it was perfect and unbelievable speeds. Highly recommended.

Faster speed network and everything its easy to set up.

I bought this to replace an old Linksys extender that was often losing its signal (as well as the green LED was not lighting). This device set up very easily and quickly using the 'Tether' app from TP-Link, and seems to be working fine, covering my upstairs rooms completely. The AX3000 I am using is extending a Linksys WiFi 5 router located downstairs, and I can confirm that it does work well in that capacity. I doubt that the AX3000 utilizes its WiFi 6 capability in my setup, though, which I did expect. But it does what I needed it to do, so I'm very pleased with the purchase.

Set up was a breeze and completed in less than 5 mins. WiFi coverage and speed improvements were better than I had expected so couldn’t be more happy with purchase.

Runs very well! Couldn’t get service to our barn until we made this purchase. Made the signal strong enough to give us service to our barn for internet.

I needed a way to get a Wifi internet connection out to the computer in my outside shop, which has sheet metal walls and roof. The shop is about 60 feet away from my router, and would not get a signal at all. I plugged the WiFi extender in close to my router and got it working in just a few minutes using the WPS setup method (took longer for the power light to go solid, than the connection process). After that, I plugged the extender into a inside wall outlet that is about 25 feet from the shop wall. I turned on the computer in the shop and found that I was getting 3 bars on my WiFi connection. Needless to say I am very pleased with my TP-Link Extender. I would highly recommend it.

I replaced a former Wi-Fi extender with this TP-Link AX3000 Dual Band Extender and the improvement in the extension of the signal was superb. Now my entire house has uninterrupted connection.

Works great, strong signal through cinderblock and brick that my router couldn't reach.

Setup w2as not as simple as they want you to believe, but after going to the web addre3ss to do the setup it has been fantastic. Was able to pick it up on sale so it was a great value. This is the only extender that works in out home so far and allows for everyone to connect. Not being a fan of connecting non tablet/cell phones to WiFi, this is doing quite well, even with all the televisions and gaming councils streaming off it. I have also found that it covers a bit more area than I actually expected. As an IT professional, I find this to be a good purchase.

This unit really boosted the distance I could get internet. Before part of my multi-storied house was unable at access the internet. Using this eliminated that problem, and extended the coverage to my outside patio. Very happy.

Our main router is in a basement office and have always had trouble with getting signal in the further most, upstairs bedroom for cell phone and things like Roku as well as doorbell camera. This solved the problem and for the first time ever, we have full WiFi signal. We wish we would have bought one of these sooner. It's a bit spendy, but worth it. Even better when you can get it on sale like we did. Very easy set up and strong signal. We are adding another with ethernet connection for boosting the kid's gaming equipment.
