Ourchased device about 50 days ago. Light use here and there through out the initial 50 days. Decided to download a game and imidiately noticed it slowed down drastically withinh 10 mins of downloading. Cross-referenced and verifeid is was specifically this device and not my internet and wifi or location. Left device cool for 5 mins and it worked well again for the 10 mins before giving issues.

      Hi JesusC,

Thank you for your review. Our High Gain Wi-Fi 6E USB Adapter is designed to provide reliable, fast Wi-Fi 6E connectivity for your PC. In your case, we first suggest relocating the adapter to a different USB port, if available. Additionally, please ensure the latest driver is installed. You can find the latest driver on our official TP-Link website, or contact our support team for assistance with your device.

This time I did the research and talked to a knowledgeable best buy rep and picked the TP-link. I downloaded the device update with my old wifi adapter and then inserted the TP link adapter. the manual instructions are kinda hazy but after a little poking around it worked. Didnt really do anything it just turned on. I was getting 230 with my old adapter, now I am getting 475. (paying for 500). I'm happy

Works well and as intended. It is about 40 feet away from our router, going through 2 concrete walls and holds a solid 5g connection. No issues.

Worked great for 3 weeks. Now when I boot up my computer it will connect then disconnect from the WiFi for about 5 minutes before holding a “stable” connection. This product will also randomly drop signal for a couple minutes before reconnecting.

      Hi ChelB,

Thank you for your review. In your case, we would first recommend ensuring you have installed the latest driver for your TP-Link Wi-Fi 6E USB Adapter, which you can find on our official TP-Link website here: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/archer-txe5400uh/#Driver

We also recommend ensuring that your Windows Power Plan does not automatically turn off the adapter for power-saving purposes. By default, Windows may attempt to turn off USB adapters to conserve power. You can find and change this setting in the Device Manager in Windows.

If you need assistance with any of these steps, please get in touch with our support team using the resources provided with the product or our official website. We will be happy to have a Support Agent follow up with you directly.

      Thank you,
      TP-Link Systems Support tplink

Wanted to use this since my old wifi adapter for my desktop hit the dust and stopped working. I've used TP Link products in the past and had no issues. Unfortunately this one is not a winner. My old wifi adapter was a netgear one and I rarely had issues with it. This one had extreme variation in terms of speed. Over the few days I tried using it, it would rarely hit the higher numbers that my broadband allows (200 mb/s), and I found my internet going very slow on a pretty frequent basis. Running speed tests over that period, I would hit 100 mb/s sometimes, but generally hovered very low... like to the point where the speed test would take forever to complete and my speed would be like 1-5 mb/s. Found games would lag, YouTube would have extreme buffer times, and even gmail would take forever to load. Overall I would not recommend this product - especially if you need a consistent connection. I was very frustrated trying to to anything online while using this. I ended up just buying a super long ethernet cord and running it up to the office.

      Hi Peze,

Thank you for your review. In your case, we would first recommend ensuring the latest driver for the adapter is installed, which you can find on our website here: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/archer-txe5400uh/

Next, please ensure the adapter is connected to a USB 3.0 port, and not a USB 2.0 port.

We also recommend verifying which Wi-Fi band (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, 6 GHz) you are connecting to. Typically, 5 GHz and 6 GHz will offer higher speeds, but your router may have difficulty providing stable signal on these bands at greater distances and through numerous obstructions, depending on how far the adapter is from the router.

Our support team is always happy to answer any questions about our products. Please feel free to reach out using any of the resources included with the product, or from our official website, and we'll gladly have a Support Agent follow up with you directly.

      Thank you,
      TP-Link Support tplink

NEVER BUY IT, NEVER BUY IT, NEVER BUY IT.... !!!!!!!!! It's nightmare when I was using this USB WIFI adapter, I bought this to replace my onboard WIFI adapter, it's seem working on the first couple days. couple days later the nightmare was start, my whole home network was disconnected from internet and then back to online in couple minutes, this was keep happening randomly. I had contact my Internet service provider, they found no any issue on their line and router(router provided by them), this problem is happening every day and randomly, had do a lot search on Google, but not able to find out what is the problem, it's so annoying and feeling helpless. when I think back what had done on my network previously, then try to remove this adapter to see what happen, finally this problem had not happen again later on. when I found out this is problem was caused by this adapter, but it was too late to return it, since it just over the return period,
