Has to be the worst router in the family of routers EVER!!! It would simply drop connections even when making setting adjustments. It wouldn't stream consistently. Just the simplest sites or apps, it would chug on a 5gb fiber network. I will NEVER EVER buy another TP-Link product ever again. TRASH!!!!!!!!

TP-Link has made a name for themselves producing networking equipment that combines stable and reliable performance with some of the latest in networking technologies. This router is a great example of that - and a great addition to their catalog and to your home network. And this time, TP-Link even managed to work in a bit of style as well!
For networking, this router has you covered on both the wired and wireless side. On the wired side, you get 4 LAN Ethernet ports that run at up to 2.5Gbps (a solid upgrade on the more common 1Gbps) and the WAN port (to your modem/etc) runs at up to 10Gbps, providing PLENTY of bandwidth (of course, the speeds that you're able to achieve will depend on the cabling that you use - so use high quality ethernet cables - and the devices on the other side of the connections). For wireless, you get up to 15Gbps AGGREGATE bandwidth across three different bands (2.4Ghz, 5Ghz and 6Ghz) - it's a WiFi 7 standard router and supports all lesser standards (including 6E) but with lower latency and ultimately better performance. Again, total performance will depend on what you connect to it and the client side capabilities, but you'll certainly know it's not your router holding you back. The BE15000 can also support numerous devices and over a substantial range - it has no trouble covering my 2 story, ~3000 sq ft house and speeds are good everywhere I've tried them. If you need more coverage, this router works with the TP-Link intelligent mesh system to easily build your own mesh network for broader coverage.
The setup is quite easy - TP-Link's software and configuration isn't flashy, but it has all the options you'd expect and just works (you can set it up using the App which is preferred/easier or you can set it up with the web interface which has a few more advanced features). You can easily set up Guest Wifi, DNS, reserved IP addresses, any needed configurations and more - and even control it with Alexa or Google Assistant.
So if you want a high-end router with nearly everything you could want in a home network solution - while maintaining the stability that TP-Link is known for - this is a great option to try. It's checked every box I've been looking for and then some and will power my network for years to come - and it would be a great choice to power yours as well!

When I had the opportunity to try a brand new WiFi 7 router i jumped at the bit and despite this overall being a very solid router, it still comes with some flaws.
Let's start with the packaging and unboxing. It is very modern and sleek with very good information about the router throughout the design. Inside of the box is the router, AC unit, ethernet plug and some documentation. The back of the router like most modern routers have a QR sticker to easily pair and set up within the app. The app that TP Link uses is called Tether (more on that later).
The Good:
Set up is extremely seamless and allows for easy set up of 2.4Ghz, 5Ghz and 6Ghz. They also have a feature that allows you to MLO (Multi-Link Operation) which basically is a combination of all 3 speeds and it will always give you the best available speed depending upon where you stand near the unit. While this feature is nice to have it had major drawbacks in my use case which I will touch on below. Something that I was particularly excited about was Onemesh, which allows you to seamlessly connect a WiFi 7 extender to the router. It is a very nice feature to have and it worked fairly well but more on that later as well.
Having the addition of a 6Ghz network was fantastic and when in really close proximity to the router, it works flawlessly. I have 2GB internet at my home and I was noticeably getting 1.4GB Download and 1.3GB Upload speeds within 15 feet of the router. It is blazing fast, which is great but as you step further and further away from the router the speeds dropped drastically. The furthest point that I measured from my router on 6Ghz was about 60 feet and I was barely getting 55MB upload and download. More on this below.
The Bad:
The router is advertised as covering 2,200 square feet which in my use case is not accurate. My home is roughly 1850 Square Feet plus a basement and I was getting either atrocious speeds upstairs, on my main level where the router lives and in my basement. While on 5Ghz, I was receiving Download speeds of 400Mbs and Download speeds of 150Mbs in close proximity to the router (reminder I pay for 2GB internet speed). When I was in the furthest part of my home to the router I was disconnected from WiFi. When I wasn't disconnected to WiFi, Fast.com nor Ookla could not run the tests because they were barely picking up internet. When I walked roughly 100Ft from the router either upstairs, downstairs or main level I was barely hitting 40Mbs Download and 20Mbs Upload.
I think it is important to add that I had switched from a Netgear WiFi 6E router before using the TP Link (I have since switched back to the Netgear because of the inconsistent speeds and drop offs the TP Link provided me. When I was at the further point of my house where I was able to even test for the TP Link and received 40Mbs and 20Mbs; I was getting well over 500Mbs Download and 400Mbs Upload with my Netgear. When I was standing next to my router with Netgear I get just about 1GB Download and Upload. Regardless of where I stand inside my house I am pushing closer to 500Mbs Download and Upload with the Netgear, where as I either have internet drop off or barely register speeds with the TP Link.
Overall, I was sorely disappointed with the TP Link for my scenario and it is something that would be a return product for me. HOWEVER, I can easily recommend this router for someone in an apartment because you can really take advantage of the 6Ghz network when in close proximity. I just do not believe that the 2,200 Sq Ft of coverage TP Link advertises is accurate and this unit is not meant for a house.

Hi,
Thank you for your review. To ensure the best possible signal, it is important to make sure placement is as optimal as possible. Reducing obstructions and placing the router in a central location will help ensure your signal reaches the areas you need. if the router is placed to one side of the home, a large portion of the estimated coverage range will be effectively wasted.
To ensure optimal performance of your wireless router, please check, and if needed, update its firmware using the steps outlined in FAQ 2139 on our official website: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/2139/

I have an existing TP-Link BE19000 (Archer BE800) router, which is basically the bigger brother to the BE15000 (Archer BE700). What I was surprised about is how similar this is to its bigger brother. They packed a lot of features into this router, including WiFi 7. Of course, many things don't support WiFi 7 yet, but the list of supported devices is growing everyday, and this router will definitely future-proof your network.
It supports OFDMA which is something I highly encourage enabling, because with all the little smart-things most homes have now, OFDMA helps with airtime congestion. It also supports the 6Ghz frequency, which supports very high speeds, but has low range. It's nice to have though for newer devices that need that extra bandwidth, and helps clear up the very congested 2.4Ghz band, while netting you better performance than 5ghz.
The feature I ended up using this router for is TP-Link's undersold EasyMesh system. You can use this router either as a Satellite Node or as the Main Router. I set it up as a Satellite Node of my other TP-Link router. So with basically one click, I was able to turn my network into a mesh network, greatly expanding my range and wireless network capacity. The increase in signal strength and network reliability in areas that were previously a little unstable in parts of my house, by placing this in that area, have eliminated all dead zones... even on the 6Ghz band.
The ease of setting up EasyMesh and how much it improved things makes it easy to recommend not just this router, but two (or more) of them!

The TP-Link BE15000 stands out with its blazing-fast 15 Gbps tri-band Wi-Fi, which is a significant leap from previous generations. The router utilizes Wi-Fi 7 technology, offering 320 MHz channels on the 6 GHz band for unparalleled performance. This means users can enjoy smooth 8K streaming and high-speed downloading without any lag.
One of the most impressive features is the Multi-Link Operation (MLO), which allows the router to transmit data across the 6 GHz, 5 GHz, and 2.4 GHz bands simultaneously. This not only increases throughput but also significantly reduces latency, enhancing experiences in VR/AR, video conferencing, and online gaming.
For wired connections, the router is equipped with a 10 Gbps WAN port and multiple LAN ports, ensuring maximum flexibility and boosted throughput for all connected devices. The inclusion of 6× smart internal antennas ensures broader coverage, while Beamforming technology provides stronger and more reliable connections.
Additionally, the router supports EasyMesh, allowing users to create a seamless whole-home mesh Wi-Fi system, eliminating dead zones and ensuring uninterrupted connectivity throughout the home. Security is also a priority, with TP-Link HomeShield offering enhanced network protection against cyber threats.
In summary, the TP-Link BE15000 Wi-Fi 7 router is a powerhouse of features designed to provide users with a future-proof and seamless internet experience.

We are finally moving into a new consumer level of Wi-Fi products with the tp-link be15000. It is a new tri-band Wi-Fi 7 router, and this is only the second router I have ever used that can handle gigabit speeds. This unit, however, can get up to 15 gbps via a wireless connection.
Much of the technology in Wi-Fi 7 is beyond me, I just haven't had the time to look into it enough, but what I can say about this router is that it just works. It can utilize 6 GHz, 5 GHz, and 2.4 Ghz bands.
One of the best elements of this router for many people who work from home, this allows you to set a VPN server for specific devices only. This is great if you work from home and need to use a VPN, as this often means you can avoid an extra piece of hardware or software.
This router is fully backwards, compatible with any other extenders and other Wi-Fi devices. It features online time management and other family protection controls, making it much easier to make sure your children are being safe and responsible online.
Everything from 4K video chat, streaming, multiplayer, competitive, online gaming, and even video game streaming has been handled excellently by this router, I couldn't be happier.

I have been planning to upgrade my home office/gaming network for a while now. I was using a WIFI 5 wireless router that has been in service since that was the current standard. Going WIFI 7 was the next logical step. When I bought the WIFI 5 router I bought on the high end. But there were features in that router that I just didn't need or use. So for this upgrade I was looking for a more affordable option. I have always bought my own routers over the years and I don’t use the ones that are available from my internet provider. I have saved monthly rental fees on my router and modem plus I own my network and that gives me the control I prefer. I have used TP-Link products for some of my switches but I never tried one of their routers. I have to admit I was dreading going into my closet where my network hardware resides and trying to figure out how I setup everything. Well in the end that was a worry I didn’t need. Setting up the TP-Link - BE1500 was easier than any router I have installed. It was literally plug and play. I followed the quick setup guide, connected from a browser and that was about all I had to do. I didn’t download and install the mobile app. My prior router also had a mobile app but after installing it I really never used it. I have that as an option if I need that access. I have some mesh 6E devices that I may connect to the DE15000 using its EasyMesh feature. Although the router is in a closet in the far upstairs of the house I am getting a very good signal. Using Speedtest I get a 905 Mbps download speed on my phone which uses WIFI 6E. This is the maximum speed of my service level with my internet provider. The last time I checked my internet speeds I was getting 620 Mbps down. So unless my internet provider upped my speeds without me knowing this is a very nice upgrade. It has been consistent in all of my testing. My cell phone is now a few years old so I expect to have WIFI 7 on my next upgrade. I also found the UI of the router to be very well laid out and I didn’t have any problem finding my way around. Overall this is a very good router that does everything I need. I don't expect to be back in that closet for another upgrade for a longtime. I think the TP-Link - BE15000 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 7 Router is an excellent value and a very nice addition to any home office/gaming network.

I will start by saying I am coming from an older mesh system which had 3 nodes that I was able to place throughout my house. We have a 2400 square foot house (2 levels, 1200 Sq Ft each level) I was unsure if this single router would be able to take the place of my previous mesh network.
Out of the box this router has an interesting design. Definitely a bit on the larger side. There is a bright line of lights on the front, which can thankfully be turned off. I found them to be a little tacky. There are also buttons on the front to refresh the router as well as turn on and off the WIFI. On the back there is an input from your modem, 4 output network jacks and a USB port.
I found the setup process to be very easy. I plugged the router into my modem and downloaded the Tether app. I went through all the on-screen instructions and I was up and running in no time. I have the router placed in the center of the upper level of my house.
I did speed tests on various computers located throughout the house to try and do a comparison. Using the 5GHz network I did notice an improvement in speed on every single computer I tested it on. Some were quite drastic; others were just slightly faster. I also have 6 security cameras around my property, all of which run in the 2.4GHz band. Here is where I started to run into some problems. All the cameras inside the house worked fine, but the 2 exterior cameras were barely functioning anymore with a very weak signal (I had no problems with these on my previous mesh network) No matter what I did, they just would not respond quickly and easily as they did with my previous system. I ended up buying a signal booster to try that out, but I still was not getting those cameras to connect very easily. Just for fun I tried switching over to some 5GHz capable cameras on the exterior of my house and those functioned just fine without even using the signal booster. Its just the 2.4GHz band that was not working well, which is strange, because that signal is supposed to be able to travel further than the 5GHz signal.
Next, I tried out the 6G signal to see how that worked. I currently only have 2 things that will work on that network. My Samsung Galaxy S24 ultra and my Asus ROG PC. With both devices I experienced the same thing. When it was connected, I got amazingly fast speeds, very comparable to computers that were hard wired to the router. I found that it was dropping the signal quite frequently though. No matter what I did, the signal kept cutting out and I found myself switching back to the 5GHz network. I could literally be less than 10 feet away from the router on my phone and I would lose the signal. I wasn’t able to pinpoint if it was a problem with the router, or my devices, But 2 different devices from 2 different manufacturers leads me to believe it might have something to do with the router. But I cannot confirm that, just something to be aware of.
Within the app you can see tons of information such as what is all connected to your router. You can isolate or block devices if you choose to. There is also a section with parental controls if that is something you need as well. This also allows for you to have a guest mode so you do not have to give out your regular password to people. Pretty much all the same functionality you find on just about any router these days.
Overall, I do like the router and I think I will stick with it over my older mesh system. Just know that the 2.4GHz and 6G modes are a bit unstable at the moment. I’m hoping this can be addressed with possible firmware updates in the future.

When it comes to routers they are a dime a dozen nowadays, but TP-Link is one brand that you can count on to provide both a quality product and software that makes it easy to use. This is no different with this router as it checks every box you need from a performance standpoint while also being easy to setup and use.
First, right out of the box you can tell the router is made from quality materials and a lot of time was spent on the design. It is not simply a light plastic casing as it has some heft to it and is very sturdy. The fact that it does not have a bunch of antennas or wings sticking out from it makes it so much easier to hide or blend in with your home/apartment and this is greatly appreciated. Along with the matte finish and minimal appearance this gives off that refined aesthetic appeal.
The form factor and appearance clearly were not the only focus of this router as the initial setup is just as exceptional. When it comes to routers the setup experience seems to either be swift or miserable to which the former is the case here as it could not be any easier. All you have to do to get this router up and running is to download the Tether app. I know that it can be annoying that everything requires an app nowadays, but the Tether app is actually useful outside of just the setup as it allows you to also see what devices are connected to your Wi-Fi network and it also allows you to quickly share your Wi-Fi password with guests among other various features.
After the setup though I have to talk about the actual performance. This is where the router continues to excel as I have a great multitude of smart devices within my home and I have not had any connectivity issues in the slightest and all of the devices work perfectly without any hiccups. In addition to the ability to maintain connectivity with all these devices the speeds put out by this router are exceptional as my Internet does not get near the advertised 11.5 Gbps of this router, but I am consistently getting very near the 1 Gbps speed advertised by my Internet provider along with no buffering of any sort when using any devices which is something I could not say for my last "high-end" Wi-Fi 6 router. Along with the wi-fi speeds provided, the range is the other key facet of performance to which this router does not lack much though due to the form factor you may have some slightly slower speeds if you have a larger home. However, to combat this I have to praise the "EasyMesh" feature here as it allows for range extenders and other routers to further the coverage of your network. Range extenders are not a new thing, but the "EasyMesh" feature allows you to simply extend your network and not have to jump over to another different network from an additional range extender or router thus providing a seamless connection throughout the entire home. Again here setup was a breeze when I used my old router as an extender with this feature because when it comes to user friendliness I really think TP Link has made that one of their key focuses lately.
Overall, from the aesthetics to the superior performance and ease of use I really don`t know what more you could ask for in a router. For that reason I would most definitely recommend this router to anyone wanting to utilize the high speeds of their Internet provider or someone who has a lot of devices they need to be connected to the Internet at once as this router will handle both of those with ease!

So, I had a interesting experience using this router. Wait. I will start from the beginning to when I first got it setup on my network.
It looks good and doesn't take up a lot of space if it needs approval from your significant other. Getting it setup and running in the app was pretty painless. I configured it to be a access point once I got it on the network and running via the app. Now here is where the fun begins.
My phone which is a S21 Ultra (I know it's old, but it still works... sorta) I have my phone set so that it doesn't use data when I am home and uses my wifi. Once my phone tried to connect to the internet from the newly minted BE15000 router that I am using as a access point it won't hold a connection to the wifi. So I checked my tablets and laptops and well it didn't go well. Windows based laptops all decided to blue screen and throw a IRQ error as soon as I tried going online. One was so bad that I had to do factory reset three times which made me think I was loosing my mind. That laptop was brand new out the box that day. The other computers that were connected to it did the same thing ort just didn't connect to the internet. Restarted my primary router several times and this one. No joy. So I took out the loop and put my old access point back in and Bob's your uncle. Everything went back to working properly.
So maybe I got a bad unit but this is about all I can say about this one. I can't recommend this based on my experience.
