Fast wifi 7 but buggy

What was worse is that at some point the satellites would lose Internet connectivity while retaining access to other LAN resources - requiring a daily reboot of the system - and all the pesky smart home alerts that followed.

After years of worse support, wifi control and support, i felt it was time to move on. These are it. You have the ability to customize and control everything within your homes wifi network with complete ease. Cannot recommend these enough regardless of which signal strengh model you pruchase. Incredible.

And I've been getting 1.1-1.5 gb speed on the Wi-Fi. I'm also using wire backhaul. I got over 60+ devices connected on the Wi-Fi. That includes 4 video game consoles playing online at the same time with no lagging issue. So far, the tp-link be16000 been handling it Like A Champion.

That router would go in and out sometimes. Product does great. It is an easy set up and has been extremely stable. The software is excellent. If you’re looking to upgrade to a mesh Wi-Fi system with Wi-Fi six and seven capabilities, this is the one.

Our 7 years old gen 1 Velop was more stable this this system. Biggest issues seem to be with 2.4ghz smart devices TVs Ring Camera.s buffering issues pixelalating tvs require reboot of the deco system, we went years with never rebooting our last one family complains constantly about speeds and stability issue no Internet reported on phones sites that won't load that only are resolved with rebooting deco. Passed the return window at $900 I can only hope that future firmware updates will fix these issues until then I regret spending the money on wifi7 and the latest technology I think now buying a solid 6e would have been the better option.

Lots of new functionality to get familiar with. As stated in product info, there are some issues with devices that don’t update regularly such as my irrigation and pool systems, which lose their connection sporadically likely due to compatibility issues. You have to expect a little of this when moving to a new standard.

I replaced my older Orbi Mesh unit thinking this will be faster with better reach. yes, on better reach and yes on faster. but the signal keeps dropping! I also cannot have my legacy devices connect to this router - my American Standard 950 thermostat and my Bluesound Node 2. spent 6 hours with TP Link support, they tried ... but did not work.

Deco BE 16000 Mesh System.

Finally ended up returning it. Any router or mesh system that costs what this one does should last longer than a few weeks.

The router will lose internet connection for upto a minute and then it comes back up online. I thought there was something wrong with my internet but I verified by connecting multiple devices to my ISP Router and to Deco and confirmed that Deco kept losing service.

Best network upgrade yet

Ive gone through many router evolutions and since moving from apartments to a home we decided to upgrade our routers to this mesh system and its been great.

Little did I know, it woule be a nightmare to manage. It constantly has connectivity issues with devices. My Eccobee thermostat refuses to stay connected no matter what I do. Other Apple Home devices struggle at times as well. Forcing me to reboot it constantly just to get it to work properly for basic devices like Apple TV. Unfrotunately I didnt realize the return policy was only 15 days so I’m stuck with it now. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Stick with Google or someone that has perfected mesh wifi.

If you turn off 5g, it appears to render 2.4g useless. No way to guarantee your device connects to 2.4. By the way trying to use guest as 2.4 is the same. These things are too expensive to not have all settings working.

Thank you for your review. We're happy to let you know that you don't need to disable the 5GHz band of your Deco Mesh Wi-Fi System. Your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi devices cannot detect, see, or interface with 5GHz Wi-Fi, so leaving it enabled should not make any difference to your 2.4GHz devices. They will only see and connect to the 2.4GHz band.

Mesh doesn’t work well, support non-existant

Owned for 8 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So i bought this and throughout my 2 story 3800 sqft house, the wifi signal is fine, but the internet speeds and frequent disconnections frustrate me. All units are hardwired. I even bought BE5000 deco extenders in near problem areas and it is a disaster. Their support is worthless and there are not enough diagnostic features in the deco app to be able to troubleshoot what the coverage and speed issues are. And yes i ran network optimization and tried the miltiple different network options to get things running smooth. I would look to a different manufacturer entirely after this experience.
