Also cured our issues with dropped connections and network timeouts. Works perfectly and makes working from home much easier.

Better than 99% of other mesh routers out there

After successfully using an Orbi mesh system for years, I tried upgrading to a newer version but was having issues with it and with Netgear’s terrible customer service. Then I tried an Amazon Eero system but there was too much lag and bad customer service. Back to a different Orbi system and again started having issues. So I looked on Cnet for their latest recommendations and they picked this TP-Link W7200 router as the best overall mesh router of 2023 and second in speed only to one of the advanced Orbi models.I bought one same day from a different retailer and setup was a breeze. My initial download speeds are down a bit but that could just be the time of day. The app works well and its interface is light-years ahead of Orbi’s stodgy, slow app. The hardware itself feels cheap and the unboxing experience left something to be desired but I’ll let those couple things slide for now.

Posted .If your security system connects via 2.4GHz, 5GHz or Ethernet it should absolute be compatible. If it connects via other means such as RJ11 (POTS) or fiber then no it would not be compatible, but we also do not advertise those as possible connections. If you can and you still have the system please reach out to support so we can help address your concern.

Utter garbage, if you enjoy resetting the entire network and reconnecting everything then buy this trash. I just threw them away today. Don't give me excuses TP-Link, I tried everything your phone hadji said.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unable it log in from anything like 192.168.68.1- it forces yo to a page where you have to download their GARBAGE App, which will show you that your new mesh router has established itself on your network & will allow you (and anyone else within range just to sign in without any credentials); however the app doesn't see the router within 6 feet. You have no way of changing the PW or any other Settings. They DO NOT have ANY live Customer Support, either... as mentioned above, you're directed to the app store on their website; the only other option (again, through the cruddy app) is a hot link that creates an email to their "support", which bounces back an automated response saying that it will be responded to in one business day! I can't think of a word for a company with this much anti-Customer Service... AVOID!!
