Linux Compatible ChipsetPosted
My wife recently got a new computer so I took her old one and decided to put Linux Mint on it. Since I couldn't string a network cable down the hall I decided wireless was the way to go. I went out and got a card from a pretty big name manufacturer only to find that the chipset was NOT supported by the Linux kernel. After a bit of research I found the correct chipset and purchased this WLAN card because it had the correct chipset. I installed it, fired up the computer an it functioned flawlessly from then on, great little network card. It also has an external reverse polarity SMA antenna connector so if you're so inclined you can experiment with different high gain antennas. Bottom line: if you have a Linux machine and need a wireless network card you can't go wrong with this one.
I would recommend this to a friend
