Fantastic for year round smart control of your lights and outdoor accessories! I've always been a big fan of the Kasa ecosystem, and these are absolutely fantastic. Easy to use, reliable and integrate well with Google Home.

I was looking for a way to control the lights & fan in the gazebo on our deck because the outlet is in an inconvenient spot, and this works great! Having two smart outlets controlled by a phone app makes it easy to turn things on and off. There are also physical switches on the unit itself so you can control them even if your phone isn't nearby. Set up was easy, and you can name the plugs & even attach a picture, too.

They work great and they were the easiest smart devices i have ever setup! Love them the 2 outlets are a plus. My whole Christmas setup is controlled by these I just say Merry Christmas Alexa and it all lights up Awesomeness!

I have numerous indoor plugs by TP Link as well as a smart bulb. I love all those. So, I bought two of these outdoor plugs about 6 weeks ago to control outdoor holiday lights. The convenience of adjusting the lighting schedule from the couch is so nice. No more going out in the freezing cold to adjust traditional outdoor timers weekly as daylight fades. Or because of falling back for daylight savings time. Plus, being able to control each of the 2 plugs individually is icing on the cake. Perfect! Also, the Kasa app is straight forward and easy to use for installing your product and has numerous scheduling options. I’ve been using it for 6 or 7 months now with my other products. Once your product is linked to your network you can control it from anywhere you are. Overall you can’t go wrong with TP-Link products in my opinion. Highly recommend.

This outdoor plug was easy to setup and I was able to add to my home network without any issues. I'm now able to control the outside devices with my voice through the Google Nest setup. Seems durable for extended use too.

This plug made it easy to control my outdoor lights. It was easy to set up. I’m able to turn my lights on and off from my phone. Takes less than a minute. Has been working perfectly from day one. Even after all the rain and bad weather.

Was easy to set up with no problem accessing WI-FI. Used this with KASA app to automatically turn on and turn off Christmas lights based on times I set. Handled rain without any issues.

Bought two of these for outside Christmas lights, It works really well, I really love the Kasa app because you can control the device without having to go outside to it. Also the timer setting function is a nice add.

Works as advertised. I was a little concerned that it might not pick up my Wifi in the backyard, but it hasn't had any problems. Easy to set up and connect, and I like being able to control it on my phone.

Easy to add it to the Kasa App. Works seamlessly with Alexa. Use it for the Xmas lights and inflatables. Have setup a schedule using the Kasa App. I find the app to be super easy to use.

I'm very pleased with this smart outdoor plug. We used it for Christmas lights and it never had issues. It was easy to set up using the app and I liked that sunset and sunrise are options for setting a schedule.

Bought this on sale, mainly to use for my outdoor Christmas lights.. it works perfect, and does exactly what it is meant to do. It’s great to be able to control the outdoor lights from my phone or set schedules for it. It’s a great buy.

This is perfect for what I wanted - a way to remotely control and automate outdoor lights. Shows up in the Kasa app (and then into the Samsung smart app, if you connect the two) as two independent plugs, so you can choose to do different things with them. Two things worthy of note - 1. This control box is fairly big - not huge or unduly big, but large, so plan for that. 2. The included cover for the plugs is a nice touch, but not much use when one plug is in use, as it falls out of the other plug. This is a throw in and easily replaced, but still something to note. You do need WIFI and a smart device/tablet to use this, so be aware of that - particularly be aware that your wifi must reach the spot (ostensibly outside) where you want to put the plug.

Worked great for my outdoor Christmas lights this year. In fact it worked so well, I intend on using it for some landscape lighting this spring. The app is super easy to use, setup takes about 2 minutes tops. I was able to easily integrate it into my Google home app and add it to my routine that turns on the other Christmas decor. You will need the app for initial setup but once you've added the plug to your home app of choice, you can delete the Kasa app and still maintain full control. This is a Wifi plug so run a speed test wherever you plan on placing this thing to ensure you have at least a small signal before purchasing.

I had purchased many Smart home devices. Only going through the pain of multiple brands did I finally settle on the TP-Link KASA. It works just as the app instruction shows. Before I purchased my first TP-Link KASA, I tried other brands that didn't work. I was instructed that the problem was my wireless routers (which they weren't). I even purchased new wireless routers to prove the point. Their apps didn't work. For the TP-Link KASA Smart Wi-Fi Outdoor plug, it was another easy install. App recognizes the new device. App connects new device to your wireless. App control finds firmware update and applies. App controls the device with an intuitive interface. Simple, and doesn't waste my time like the "others" did.

I bought 2. One for gazebo lights and exterior gazebo fan. And the second for my cafe patio lights and pond lights. I love the ease of use and being able to set a schedule to turn on and off. Love it for exterior uses!

Great and easy to use. Makes life easier by not having to plug and unplug lights.
