Needed a smart plug for the outdoor christmas lights so this worked perfect.

I bought two of these outdoor plugs, one for the backyard and one for the front yard so that I could control my Christmas lights on a schedule. I like the fact that each outdoor plug had two outlets and that I could control each outlet independently of the other. I scheduled the plugs to power on at sunset and to turn off at 1:00am. You can also turn them on/off at the plug or through your phone or computer. Setup was easy, and only took 5 minutes if you already have other Kasa products and have the app installed on your phone. The only reason for the 4 star rating was that on one of the plugs, I couldn't get the plug to adhere to the schedule. Even though in the settings the schedule was active, the plug did not recognize the schedule. I had to remove the device from my network and reinstall the device and then setup the schedule again. After taking these steps, the plug recognized the schedule and started turning the plug on/off per the schedule. Overall an excellent product and I would recommend, especially if you can find them on sale.

I have 1Kasa smart plugs and 7 Kasa cameras. I was worried I couldn’t add more devices but I did. I bought 3 of the outdoor plugs which equates to 6 additional plugs to my list making it 18 plugs in total. My router was able to handle all of them but I had to put half of the in 5ghz and some on the 2.4ghz. These outdoor plugs work and haven’t had any issues with them yet. Don’t know how long they will last outside but they are robust in construction. Get them on sale - 24.99 bucks. Best,

Super easy to set up and pretty heavy-duty perfect for the outdoor lights we needed to have turn on and off automatically.

Purchased this to remote control one the devices in my house and it works great. Included in the box were some drywall anchors and the setup was very simple after downloading the TP-Link Kasa app. My only personal opinion is that I wish it was just a rectangular plug with 2 outlets flush with the wall instead of having a cord that needs drywall screws for short cable cable management. TP- Link makes great products and this is definitely a good one for your smart plug needs.

Easiest thing to set up and totally reliable. Never lost wi-if connection despite being far from the router outdoors.

We were using a sensor timer previously but everytime it would be too cloudy or there is a storm, that timer would turn on. This TP-link solved that problem. Our outdoor holiday decorations now turns on and off on time. No more unnecessary electrity usage because of sensor issues. My husband was also able to set this up in minutes. We have bought the indoor ones ever since and have used it for our Christmas tree.

Easy to set up, worked great to turn on my outdoor Christmas lights. Also compatible with an Echo so I could turn them on/off by voice.

The good is that it’s works exactly as advertised and the app is by far the easiest to use and set up for Siri, Alexa and Google home. It’s great no doubt but the biggest surprise was the distance in which it works. It works off WiFi and I don’t have good signal on that side of the home and it still works 95% of the time. It’s struggles but it manages to work. Although, that’s all on me. Awesome product.

Awesome addition to the outdoor lighting and look of the pool area.

Only had for a few days, but bought 3 of them for different areas. Download the KASA app and easy quick setup. I got them to control some lighting outside. Super easy to turn on and off on the plug or the App plus App scheduling is very easy including multiple on/off times on each plug. Might buy another in the near future. I had mechanical timers that were very old and wanted easy access for the winter months.

Set up is super easy. The Kasa app if very user friendly. Plugs can be set up as independent. Highly recommend

Purchased this to replace Christmas Lights timer, works great based on app schedule including sunrise/sunset times.

Have used other plugs, but this is the best. The 2 plugs come in handy.

Great addition for my Christmas lights. Able to control them from anywhere with my cellphone. Was able to use the feature to have the lights turn on at dusk then off when I choose then on in the am then off at dawn. Also having the ability to integrate them into my smart home and be able to control all the plugs with voice control via our alexa apps is sweet no more reaching for your phone so now my patio string lights are controlled with them also.
