great product to have when you to remote access any outdoor lighting events.

I have a bunch of Kasa stuff and have always been pleased with its easy and reliable connectivity. I bought 2 of these, one for some patio string lights and another for some various holiday light setups. Super easy to program a schedule and even manually control if needed. Great smart plug for outdoors that’s very reasonably priced.

I purchased this mainly for Xmas light because I need the waterproof timer (the exhausted ones do not have waterproof) it held up well and I previously was already using the KASA app so all I need to do is to add into the app. There was the first storm of the season and there wasn’t any electric problems occurred. For now(a month) it worked like wonder!

Good quality product which works well on the 2.4Ghz Wifi band.

Solid Wi-Fi plug, just be sire you have access to a 2.4 ghz Wi-Fi network otherwise it won't work.

Not quite as simple to set up as the 3 step directions that came on the box. Need to download the app and set it up. Took about 30 minutes of playing with the app to get it set up.

TP-Link truly makes the best devices for smart home automation - I've found them to be consistently rated as #1 or at least within the top 5 devices. I have a few of these outdoor smart outlets powering up LED lights that highlight my landscaping. They set up quickly with ease offer a wide variety of customization options. Highly recommend.

Works really well - app is intuitive and simple to use. Plug it in, get the app, configure it and you are done. As others point out, this is ideal for controlling outdoor lighting. Will be buying a second one to handle patio lighting scheme I will be installing. Highly recommend this product!

I stringed some lights in my backyard that I wanted to turn on and off automatically. I could have bought a cheap timer, but wanted something that I could remotely turn off and on so I got this. It's very sturdy and I'm not worried about it getting wet. I do have it plugged into a covered outdoor outlet and the bulk of it just hangs down.

Works great for outdoor plug, controlling porch lights, etc. Can control each plug separately from the app, which is a great feature. Simple to set up, can set timers and schedules too.

Really happy with this, the Kasa app is really easy to use and I like having all the smart devices in one place. Sometimes if I want to turn it off, it doesn't go back to the schedule easily, but not a big deal. Love that you can schedule the two outlets individually.

Turning on Christmas lights and decorations without having to go outside is super convenient. Also being able to control 2 different plug ins gives great flexibility when only wanting to turn on certain things and not everything plugged into both outlets. The Kasa app is easy to use and navigate as well.

Very nice ! to have available this device for outdoors smarthome controlled connectipons for whatever, klighting, sterois radio, yard eqyiptment. Can even be controlled security cameras by cellphonesmart from abroad. rugged design endures weather, though would suggest asmall covering atop if outdoors in rain snow etc. Great unit Thanks Best Buy!

works great. Have it set up outside for a patio lights and it's done great regardless of the weather. Never drops connection and works even when we aren't at home. It's a great convenience to be able to turn the lights on and off especially while we're away. Nice to come home from family walks to see that our lights are on. Would recommend.

Easy to use, control your "device" from anywhere. I hook this up to my AC unit. On my way home from work I turn it on, by the time I'm home my house is comfortable. Of course you need a AC unit that you can "set" while the power is off, then once you turn the power on, BOOM!

Its nice that you can control it manually and individually. Nice integration with Alexa. Only con is that the covers for the plug aren't attached to device itself so there's a chance you can lose it when you're using both plugs. Wish that it did have a flat 90 degree plug though since it is for outdoor use, it forces the cover to open wider.
