Plug is perfect to plug decorations outside to. Easy to setup and program. Works great with google Home

No problem setting it up at all. Can use Alex or Google to control it in addition to the Kasa app. I have not really use it outdoors, I hope it works as good as it looks. I just wish my hose water timer can be rigged to plug into one of these so I can control it indoor when it is raining. Or better yet, the timer manufactures should incorporate the technology in their products so we do the programming remotely.

I was looking for a plug that would enable me to control my outdoor Christmas lighting remotely. This plug did the trick completely. It was easy to set up and it worked perfectly, even in cold and wet weather. After I set it to turn my lights on and off at the same time each day, I never had to think about it again all season. It allows you to select different times for each day if you so choose. It also says that you can operate it via Google Home but I did not use that function. Very satisfied and will buy other Kasa Smart plugs.

I purchased this to control year around outdoor lighting and Christmas display lighting. I used to use mechanical timers but got tired of going out into the bushes where the outdoor outlets were located and manually changing the timers for daylight savings time, earlier winter darkness hours etc. Now I setup the app on my phone and turn the year around lights off while the Christmas lights are on, change the o/off schedule etc all from my living room easy chair. They have been in use for several weeks now and work great. I,m very happy with the purchase, especially at the sale price

Works great right off of the box. App was easy to use to set up device. Also able to connect it to Alexa with no problems.

This TP-Link Kasa Smart Wi-Fi outdoor plug is very reliable and works with the Kasa app very reliable and easy to use and pair. Kasa is an excellent platform for WiFi accessories such as switches, plus, and lights. I use many of them and they work great, along with it being integrated with Alexa for voice control, the Kasa app is easy to use and it has a lot of capabilities.

I have purchased many Kasa products and have been very pleased with them. They are easy to set up and reliable. This one was a little bulkier than others I have from the same brand and the plug covers aren't attached which they are on the others I have.

This has worked great for Christmas decorations and other seasonal outdoor lighting needs. The app and the plug are easy to use.

Like the rest of TP-Links products that use the Kasa app, this plug is fantastic. I used it this Christmas to control my outside decorations. A handy feature is scheduling it to turn on when the sun goes down so it adjusted as the winter went on and it got darker earlier. Great also that the two plugs can be controlled independently of one another so they can be used for entirely different things. It also pairs well with the Google Home app so I could use my Home Minis to turn it on it off before the scheduled time if I felt like it. Highly recommend.

This works great in our greenhouse for lights and fans. I control it over wifi from the free app.

This works perfectly year round. It has survived the elements and has been hanging from an outlet at our front door through Houston heat and humidity and recently weather in the teens here. It still responds immediately via the app if it needs to be manually shut off. But it works perfectly on its daily timer as well for outside holiday decorations

I am a nut when it comes to Christmas lights. I have used many products to help remote control lights, but this is by far the best I have used. Scheduling for sunrise to 10 pm is easy, or using the scene on/off widget is very useful. Is a great tool. I have had 1 for over 2 years and bought more based on its performance - glad I did. I am a fan of the entire Kasa line - the ease of use and quality is top notch in my opinion

Picked this up on sale. Easy to set up with app. Can set up schedules, control the plugs separately. Works with Google Home. Definitely recommend.

No issues. Used for 1 season for outdoor lighting and worked like charm. Easy to setup and app worls flawlessly.

Works great. Like all smart items, it takes a little while to set up and this outdoor plug is twice as hard because the plugs are independent. And then there is Alexa with the multitude of options and the confusing set up procedures. Luckily, the Alexa set up is easier after the first smart set up. I've only used it once, Christmas outdoor lights, but it held up against rain, heat, dampness, and cold. TP makes good tech gear, and this plug was on sale, so I could not pass it up.
