Bought this item for my alea.it is so nice that if you are not home and it gets dark you just go under app and hit the lamp it turns on the lamp and now home is dark no longer. Great for a coffee pot. Tell alexa turn on coffee maker and wells..coffee

The setup was easy as pie the app is easy to use and it works great and there's so much more that it could be used for than I originally thought.

Great product! It integrated easily with my Amazon Echo and I can control it with IFTTT. I reboot my router daily but don't need to reboot this smart plug which I hear you have to do with the WeMo. I'd definitely recommend it to friends and family.

good thing about this is it doesn't block the other plug on an outlet like some of the other designs. Works well with Alexa and the Kasa app is great

These things make life just a little more convenient. It's easy to set up and they're useful for both permanent and seasonal purposes. I have a few throughout the house. I use them seasonally for the christmas tree, and year-round for standing lamps and nightstand lamps. At the $10/ea price point, they're worth it

I got several of these. Living in Florida and with the hurricane season and power going on and off, I use these and set a timer on my computer, appliances etc. this way it helps not only with the electricity but in the event that there is a power outage.It also helps in the event that you are away from home and you’re not sure if you left some thing on. It’s easy to just go online and turn it off

I purchased these to control lights in our home. I chose these over the Philips Hue because there is no need to have a controlling hub connected to wireless. These work well with our Alexa devices and we have not experienced any issues so far.

I was concerned because I had a Wemo plug for my other devices and wasn'the sure how that would work with my Echo. The set up was easy and it integrated nicely. Plugged my Christmas tree into it so I could control it by voice which is amazing.

I love these plugs. They are cheap, more dependable than the Amazon plug, small, and easy to install.

This is very easy to setup and use. I am using it via the App and Amazon Echo Dot. It is super handy specially the scheduler feature when we are traveling. Its definitely worth the price to have smart control on a device while away from home.

These plugs are so easy to set up, they work with Alexa or work on a timer. I never come home to a dark house anymore!!

I so far have three of these, controlled by an Amazon Echo Dot 2nd generation. Installation requires that you first download an app to your phone (called Kasa) and create an account with TP-Link. Then you connect the plug to an outlet and set your phone to use the Wi-Fi signal coming from the plug. Then you set the plug to use your own Wi-Fi connection, switch your phone back to your own Wi-Fi connection, and then you should see the plug in your list of devices under Kasa. In my experience, the Kasa application would keep asking to reconnect after this last step, but if you close and restart the app it sees the plugs fine. On the Echo Dot side, you have to add the Kasa skill and then provide access to the TP-Link account used when configuring the plug through the Kasa app. Note that when you add another TP-Link device (like another plug), or rename one you already have, you have to go back into the Alexa app and rescan for devices - they're not automatically added to Alexa even after the skill has been configured. The only other thing to note is that the plugs do make a switching sound when being turned on or off, like a light switch might do. So the plugs are not silent when changing state. Other than that, they are unobtrusive and their connectivity light only turns on when they are switched on. When they are off the light is off so no night-light effect.

Quick to setup, now I can have my lamp on a schedule. Hoping it might help with waking up in the morning, and going to bed at the same time. Or I might just tell Google to turn it back on. Either way, does everthing I need with no problems.

Along wiith the TP-Kasa app, I am able to immediately power on or off my icicle lights with the TP-LINK - Smart Wi-Fi Plug Mini - White, as well as use the power button on there side of the smart plug. I would definitely recommend. I bought it in a bundle with the Amazon Echo Dot(2nd Gen), but can't seem to get them to talk with each other. I will keep trying to get them to work.

Currently using with Christmas lights. Works with app that lets you set a timer or will randomly turn it on and off during a set period of time. Has some power monitoring functions that could be useful in the future. Works with amazon echo

These are way better than the Wemo plugs I used to have. The android app made it near impossible to (re)setup any of those plugs after just a few months of use. So these were a breath of fresh air. Setup took less than five minutes, and it was up and running for lights and other electronics. We have Echos at home, and voice commands to turn them on/off have been a breeze. With the holidays, also helps that these double as timers for our decorations. Will keep collecting these!

I would 100% recommend this plug to anyone looking to add voice-control on/off capabilities to any "non-smart" device- from lights, to small appliances, to TVs. Set-up is a breeze, and it syncs with Google Home and Amazon Echo devices without any issues. The scheduling features are great too, as you can put a sleep timer on a device, or set a device to turn on/off at a certain time for each day of the week, or the same time every day. The plug does make a clicking noise when it's switched on and off, but I actually don't mind that- in a troubleshooting case, it indicates to me that the switch portion of the plug is working. The only downside I can really think of is that when plugged into a power strip, the plug may block other outlets, but that's pretty typical for most smart plugs I've considered. For me personally, I bought the plug for an older TV- I stream media with Chromecast, but I had to use the TV remote for power, as the TV doesn't support HDMI-CEC. As with most people, I'm pretty good at misplacing remotes, so there was always a minute or two of "where's the remote?!" Now, I can control everything on the TV with the Google Assistant, either with voice or through the Home app. The plug also worked well for my parents to add voice-control capabilities to their Christmas tree lights, as the outlet and switch were in pretty hard to reach places behind the tree. Now, they can just tell Alexa to turn on the Christmas tree instead of fumbling to reach the outlets.

I have two of the larger plugs from TPLink. I prefer this plug to the other type. Not that the other one is bad. It’s that this one allows for me to use use both plug outlets. The other TPLink covers both so all you can do is use the one

I purchased this for a trip out of town so we could keep better tabs on our lights coming on and off while gone. This worked excellent and was far more reliable than the old school timers which never seemed to come on/off when you thought you scheduled them. This was super easy to set up from out of the box and working in less than 5mins. The app was also very user friendly. I'd highly recommend this wifi plug!
