Easy to set up with the tp-link app (Kasa). Then you can link it to your google home app to work with google mini. Plug in anything you want then tell google to turn it on and off! Or you can set it up on a time. I plugged my outside Christmas lights into it in my garage and now I just tell google to turn them on and off. I don’t have to go outside in the cold!

Got 3 of these for $5 each when bundled with some Echo Dots. Great price for these handy smart plugs. Plugged in and got Bluetooth connected to Alexa within a couple of minutes and now she turns on and off our room light and Christmas tree with a simple voice command. Can do more with these... I will have fun finding ways to make them more useful. Great buy... works good. No complaints.

I was very reluctant to purchase a tp link. Luckily enough it came at a discount when buying an Amazon Echo. I absolutely LOVE these! Super easy to set up. Works fantastic!! Since dec. I’ve only had to reset one of mine 1 time. (I have 4). Somehow it was logged off. I just unplugged it from wall and replugfes in. And it works like a charm!! Great investment for the smart home!

Easy to set up and operate. Set up for both my phone and Alexa. Installing the adjustable Phillips HUE Smart lightbulb is pretty cool. Tell Alexa, turn the light down to 20%. Or off. I wouldn't recommend getting a talking parrot though......

This is my 3rd set of to-link smart plugs. These are easy to set up using the KASA app and I’ve not had any trouble with connectivity. The app allows to program day/times to turn on/off and to control while away as well. I recommend this product.

It's not too bulky, and it has a manual power on/off button on the side that you can use. To set this up, you need to download the Kasa app and create an account. Then, you follow the directions to link your smart plug to your home network. It can take about 5 minutes for the connection to set up, but once it's done, you can turn it on and off from anywhere as long as you and the plug have internet connection. It's really convenient once you set things up because you can set a schedule for days of the week and time periods where it will shut off or turn on anything that's plugged into it. It also doesn't take up a second plug, so most standard 2 plug outlets will still have the second one free. You'll only have issues with the size if you're really cramped for space wherever the outlet is.

I was hesitant to buy it because I wasn't sure if it would work. I have had a bad experience with another brand that I tried. This unit far exceeded my expectations. Not only does it work well, I have integrated the software on my phone with Google. You give the plug a name then say Hey Google, turn on "given device name", etc. When traveling, I set up a schedule that works great. I can see the status on the phone and change it if I want to. The only caveat was when adding this device, it wasn't initially clear to me that I had to click the "+" in the upper right corner in the Kasa software app. In Google you need to identify the app to be integrated.

I have several of these now and have purchased a few for family members. They plugs work great with the app and with Alexa. Set up is easy. I’m not very technical and it takes just a few minutes to get it working. Great too if you are out of town or need to turn on lights on a lamp if you are not at home.

I've been getting into trying to make our home to be a smart home that can be controlled through our phones and tablets. These smart plugs are great to add into any room light and it's easy to turn on and off a whole room with just one of them. Setup for this smart-plug is super easy and quick. Just plug it in, connect your smartphone to the wifi on the device, then using the Kasa app just point the device to use your home network and that's pretty much it. Then you can control the smart plug through the Kasa app on your phone or tablet. You can even set schedule to have them turn on at a certain of the day. Which is cool! Another thing that I like about these plugs is that it is easy to integrate with Alexa. If you have an Echo device you can easily just tell Alexa to turn on your Living Room Lights, Fans or whatever you have plugged into it. You can also have a power strip control multiple devices and plug the power strip into the Smart Plug. Overall, I really like these smart plugs and would highly recommend them to anybody that wants to add more control to their future smart home.

Kasa Smart plugs are easy to program with the app. They work great with Amazon Alexa. Voice control with Alexa makes it easy to turn on and off lights without using the app if you prefer. Well worth the price, can't believe I didn't buy them sooner.

not being overly tech savvy, i was able to set this up easily and connect it to my Echo dot. now when i walk in the house i can just say "Alexa, turn on the lamp" before i enter the room. not absolutely necessary but a nice feature to have. this will come in handy once i set it to go on and off at specified times and while traveling.

I am sure this works fine for someone who it is targeted for. My purpose for this review is not to throw this product under the bus, it is to warn potential purchasers of it when it comes up on the, "since you bought HomePod, you will probably need this." page. I purchased this because there was an implication that it would work with the Apple HomePod that I purchased in the same transaction. If it is possible for it to work with the HomePod, I have not been able to figure it out. On the outside of the box, like 99% of all similar products, it says it will work with Google Assistant and Alexa. Nothing about HomePod. What I want is something to work with my existing HomePod, and not have different apps on my phone to control every different device in my home, and such a thing does not seem to exist.

Easy setup when you follow enclosed directions. Kasa app syncs well with Alexa app. Compact size fits electrical double wall outlet without blocking usage of other secomd outlet.

Great plug at an exceptional value! Works as advertised. I use one to schedule my fish tank lights to turn on in the morning at 5:30am, so that my wife can walk out in the morning and see her fish while everything else is still dark. I have a second one timed for lights in the back yard by the pool and woods, as it is very dark out there and we can see everything, including our dog when he goes out to do his business. We used to walk across the yard and turn them on and off by plugging them in to an outlet. This is life changing in the winter. They also come on at 5:30am and go off at 7am, so that my wife can see them and the yard in the morning... Before, it would be pitch dark and she would not go out to turn them on... now she loves it.

Super easy set up! Super easy to use with my lamp to turn on and off whenever, even remotely though Alexa. It’s essentially plug and play with Alexa and my Echo Show. I highly recommend it for starting your smart home gadgets and this bundle deal was awesome.

My needs weren't at all exotic... all I wanted was to be able to use my phone during my commute to turn on a lamp in my front room at home. I've got dogs and it's easier to get the door open without any of them squeaking past me if I can first see inside. I have good Wi-Fi and (at least at this point in time) have no plans to go crazy and set up my entire house to be remotely adjusted. Just wanted a lamp to go off/on and not break the bank doing it. I was advised that this mini-plug was just what I was after, so I gave it a try. Works perfect. Just followed the onscreen prompts and set up was easy. Now I can click on the correct icon on the phone's app and, when I walk up to my front door, the front room is lit. This was exactly what I was looking for; no dimming, no color changing, just a remote off/on switch for the device of my choice. Recommended.

LOVE these smart plugs. I only recently gave in and decided to give smart plugs a try. My only regret is that I waited this long to give them a try. I first tried the Amazon brand and was sold. While looking to purchase more, I found the Kasa Smart Wi-Fi Plug Mini set of four offered at a much better value and is as easy to use with the Alexa app as the Amazon product. I now have just about every lamp in my home plugged into a smart plug. I purchased even more for my Christmas decorations. The best was creating a Christmas group and turning the lighted decorations off and on all through the Alexa app. One of my favorite devices! The Kasa mini smart plug set of four is a great value.
