Love these things! Second set of these I’ve purchased. Super easy to set up, update & use. The app is super intuitive & functional. Easy to create names for whatever you use it for, schedules, etc. Super fun to give things goofy names so the fam has to say it when using Alexa. Which, setting up to use with Alexa is also super easy.

This tp link wifi outlet is so much better than the wemo WiFi outlet by belkin. Tp link stays connected on the WiFi and unlike the wemo constantly keeps getting disconnected.

Just kidding. I had everything but the plugs so now I can set up my smart home. I like giving orders to things that will do my bidding. As a mother, it is a dream come true.

We put a lamp with only one extension in the back for when our dog would go to the bathroom in the afternoon / night, but to avoid having to go back and forth to turn on and off, as this device which we find perfect, it works well and It is easy to install you can even program it to turn on and off at different times, it only has one "but" that can only be installed with a cell phone or tablet at the same time, in my case I have it and my husband cannot program it to be able to use it too.

This was bundled with an echo purchase, and both together were cheap. Ended up using it for lights on a Christmas tree and was easy to turn off/on with an app on my phone or just telling Alexa to "turn on family room Christmas tree". Easy to setup and works great. Now that Christmas is over, put it on a table lamp in our family room and changed the name on the app so I can use a different title when commanding Alexa.

The bad news, you have to download an app to get this working, even with Alexa. That is mostly a problem if like me, you have two different brands of outlets (read more apps). The good news is the app allows you to do things like schedule the outlet. I have a lamp plugged in, which if away from home, I can turn on or off via app (or Alexa) but can also schedule it to come on automatically.

Price was right and this plug works with Alexa without a problem. WOULD RECCOMEND.

I have two pet turtles. I wanted to go out with families for 1 night and 2 days trip and had no idea how to leave them alone without food but at least basking lamp to be turned on and off so that they can thrive. This little smart device helped me. I could schedule the timings for light to turn on and off as desired. Hurray! I went with my families and turtles enjoyed basking.

Works perfectly with my Alexa, easy to setup. I use my to control the night stand bedroom ligjhts. No more having to get up and turn off the opposite side of the bed light.
