TPlink mini smart plugs are the way to go! You can use the smart plug and still have ease of access to the remaining electrical outlet. Also very easy to connect to app and create custom or default schedule for anything connected to the smart plug. And Best Buy is true to it's name ... it has the best price for this item.

I have used other brands of smart outlets in the past, but would have issues with them losing network and having to be reset. I have not had this issue with this product. Plus, this is a smaller design that takes up less space. It works perfectly with Google Home and Alexa, and has an on/off button for manual control.

Easy to connect and use. Haven't had any issues with it disconnecting randomly either like some other smart switches I have.

Very cool! We used so we would have remote access via wifi to our security cameras as from time to time they need to be rebooted and we are on vacation or miles away. Took just a few minutes to set them up. All we have to do now, presumably, is turn the units off via these plugs for a minute or so and then back on.

Initial set up is easy. Setting up for vacation mode is easy and reliable.

Had the WeMo smart plug (from another retailer) - one worked most of the time, the other rarely worked. Returned them and tried TP Link. Night and day. Works almost perfectly. The only issues when the plug doesn't respond are actually not the plug, but rather with our Echo not understanding or the internet dropping out for a moment. Very good products. Reliable and easy to use.

This is a nice small remote switch that only covers one outlet so you can still use the second outlet on a wall plate. The TP-Link switch requires installing an Alexa skill to use it with Echo devices, and one thing to remember is to enable remote access when setting it up.

I bought these for my parents to use with holiday lights. They were easy to setup and the app is very straightforward, which was important when it comes to my parents using them as they are not tech savvy. The app for these has seemed more consistent and reliable than the WEMO app which I have used with similar products from that manufacturer.

Very versatile. Can be used for small appliances, lights, TV, coffee pot, etc. I haven't been using it very long but so far it works well and I'm very satisfied.

I have four of these. It is wonderful to be able to turn lights on from anywhere you are before you walk into your house. I used it to turn my Christmas tree on and off. I feel safer being able to turn lights on instead of going in a dark home. It is a security measure as you are able to turn lights on at night no matter where you are so it looks like you are home.

I had one plug already and decided to grab two more . I mostly use the Kasa app to schedule some lights around the house, but it's also nice to have Alexa turn them on/off by voice as well. These are simple to setup. I was able to buy them on sale as a Deal of the Day, so that makes it an even easier decision to purchase.

So far this smart plug has worked beautifully. The app works well and quickly, plus I have it linked to a google home mini to use voice control which also works well. The set up was a breeze and easy to follow. If I ever get more smart plugs I'll most likely get more from TP Link.

Pretty straightforward Smart Plug. Even though it doesn't work with Apple HomeKit, you can create Siri Shortcuts or routines with it pretty easily. It clicks pretty loud when turning on or off, but I think it's helpful to have audio feedback that my commands are working.
