These Wi-Fi plugs work as advertised. Never have purchased TP-Link Kasa smart home products before but was impressed with how easily they integrated into Smartthings and Echoes. You do need to use the Kasa native app to do so but have never had any issue which is unique in the smart home world.

I got this Mode of smart plugs on clearance prior to getting the upgraded versions that work with Apple Home app. These work great after installing the app. The Apple Home versions of this plug are a little more convenient and can be accessed directly on your iPhone

Kasa is by far the best smart plug I’ve ever owned. The mobile app makes set up quick and easy. The app is very easy to use and you can connect your Alexa to it to control the plug. And I love the fact it has an “away” mode so when you are gone, the plug will turn the connected lamp on/off at random times to make it look like someone is home.

I purchased this smart plug on a great sale. When the item was on sale again, I purchased two more plugs. The plug is very easy to program with the TP-Link app, which is extremely user friendly. I also like being able to control the electronic item plugged into the smart plug with Google Assistant commands. I highly recommend this smart plug.

I bought these plugs to control my Christmas tree and other Christmas garlands and powered decorations inside the home. I like the fact that there is no control hub needed additionally to control these plugs just the app and it's good to go. You can also set schedules of when you want them on and off, with multiple schedules allowed per plug

I have both tplink and wemo and I like the tplink app better. This new design is better than the original one since it’s smaller with more attractive design.

We needed an extra smartplug for our Xmas tree, and this worked fine. It's a compact size and after we take down the tree, I'm not sure where we'll use it, since we don't have many lamps in the house. As with many smart devices, it requires you to download an use an APP to connect with your Echo or similar device, for voice or App control.

Easy to setup and use, work every time and made life easier

Wanted to add the ability to turn lights on/off for when we are on vacation, and wanted to make it easier to turn a floor standing light on that is hard to reach. This device does the trick nicely. This little device is simple to use with the app available on Android devices, however, it would have been nice if you would have been able to schedule on/off cycles through the app. TP-Link makes good quality products and this little gem is no exception.

Smaller than the other wemo plug, can fit in outdoor weatherproof electric outlet box. Easy to figure out set up, Very easy for experienced smart device operators.

Why get up when you can control everything with your phone and/or voice? Combined with the dot, I have not physically turned on my Xmas lights since day 1.

Smart plug Kasa software kind of sucks But thankfully works great with google home, set up though that to bypass Kasa software entirely, and I highly recommend this product, use it currently to control the Christmas tree in the living room, will probably leave it with the Christmas lights until next year.
