I picked this up to control my electric fireplace during the winter. Setup was fairly simple to me. App has great features that allow you to set it up to turn on and off at certain times. Works great for something that can stay in the on position when the power to the outlet is off. I tried this on my pool filter pump but the plug has a circuit breaker in it. The breaker requires power for the reset to stay active. When you turn the plug off it stops power which turns of the pump and the reset disengages. Which makes turning the pump back on manual by turning the outlet on and pushing the rest on the plugs breaker. This is not a shortcoming of the outlet. I set and off timer on the app which keeps me from forgetting to turn the pool pump off and running all the time.

I love these. I previously had used Wemo plugs to control lamps and things. But these are a better price, easier to set up and seem more stable. I have them working with Google Home mini.

Small wifi plug which gives room for the other on a 2 gang outlet to be free and we can also connect 2 next to one another. Turn on / off Fan, Humidifier etc. or set them on schedule.

Convenient and helpful when you are not home which could be ON or OFF by your Smart phone.

Got this smart plug with the Echo Dot deal on Cyber Monday. It does the job. I don't like it quite as much as the Wemo smart plug, but it's definitely a decent product. Worth it.

This plug was easy to install and worked immediately. I have other items fromTP link family so use the app to control all. Great for areas where switch or plug is hard to reach. Purchased this on sale so price was good.

Too many other smart plugs out there are picky about 2.4 vs. 5GHz, or getting picked up by networks at all. No such problems here. Out of the package and into service in seconds, not minutes. TP-Link doesn't do everything right, but they nailed it here.

Somewhat easy to setup using app for Alexa. I will buy more for those hard to reach spots

I have 3 of these smart plugs now and they all work great. The setup with the Kasa app is quick and easy. I like that I can control the plugs from anywhere, to turn on some lights and such while I'm out.

The TP-LINK minis I purchased were: Easy to set-up Easy to control from the app for my Samsung Note Easy to configure voice control from my Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa And, have given me reliable operation. *It would be nice if the minis were also dimmable*

I got these as a gift for a friend. I really like the fact that these are lower profile, and you don't cover the other outlet when you plug one in. WiFi set up was easy, as was connecting it to Google Home.
