Kasa plug

First you have to download their app, sign up with them, then go to the Alexa app and hope that the plug is on and recognized by the program. Sometimes in the middle of the night it just starts blinking. Next time I think I will buy matching products to avoid the aggravation.

OK but can still block other plugs

I know everyone else said it was easy, so maybe it was just my particular WiFi set up or the fact that I don’t have Google home. It took me a while to figure out. But once I got it set up, I plugged my tree into it and it’s very convenient.

Bad App

It’s not due the the hardware, it is because of the bad App doesn’t recognize the WiFi in the new place. I tried both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Channels but none of them worked. Tp-link has always been the cheaper alternative in my mind since high school. And the reality seems never changed.
