Leave it plugged in once you setup

Had a bit of a rough time getting it to connect and if you unplug it the app won’t see it right away until it is reprogrammed in the Alexa app.

We have one of these connected to lamp in the bedroom. It is great for going to bed and getting up in morning. From bed we just tell Alexa to turn on light or turn off light. The other connected to window unit, and we actually have that one set on a time schedule thru the app, where it turns on at 8pm and turn off at 3 am. Makes room temperature great and not wasting electricity. The app is super easy to use.

I like to sleep with the drone sound of a fan at night and I have the fan plugged into this outlet. I control it with my Google Home device. I like to watch TV or read while I'm winding down and when I'm ready to go to sleep, I just give the command, "OK Google, turn on the box fan" and voila, it turns it on so I don't have to get out of bed.

This switch makes automation easier

It works great, easy to pair and I can use my old bulbs since it controls the device connected to it. I found it simple to connect, make sure you are on your WiFi while pairing with your phone and google home or any automated device. One thing to make sure that you do the first time you are setting it up, you ha e to connect to its WiFi As it shows up in the list so that you can pair. Once that is set, everything else is simple .
