I bought this to control lights in my house when I'm away. Besides being very cool it works well. The set up was easy on my Google phone. I like the Kasa APP and the 'Away' feature is handy, it let's you set a time frame where the plug goes on/off randomly to simulate someone being at home. I haven't had any problems with it disconnecting. It would be nice to see more features in the Kasa APP, for one thing a graph of on/off times. Also, it would be nice if TP-Link had a way to control from my PC instead of just a phone or tablet.

Have a few and other smart home products from tp-link. They are reliable and easy to setup and use.

WE love our KASA Smart Plugs. We have 3 indoor and 1 outdoor. So easy to use and set-up. Convenience is great!!! We can turn on outside Christmas lights, inc door lights through out house, and can move plugs to get the product that we want on the Smart Feature. We can turn on and off any plug that we want, at any location using our phone. LOVE these products! This product review was from a purchase in November, but we had purchased a couple from earlier this this year.

These plugs are great.they are easy to setup and are small, wont block the other outlet.I am using these with Google.

I have two of these along with a few cheaper models from China. These are rated to handle 15 amps so use one with our electric fireplace (I checked the amperage with a meter to make sure the appliance was within tolerance). Great device.

Worked great for our Christmas tree lights. No issue with set-up, and works great with Google Home.

I originally purchased one in 2017. It worked so well that I bought another 2 last month to control Christmas lights. Setup was super simple, taking just a minute. The grouping devices feature is useful so that I can control all the Christmas lights at once. The one gotcha is that you can't set up a schedule for a group, but you can work around that by setting up the scenes feature and then add each device in the group to the scene.

Don’t like that I have to download another app just to use it, but I suppose that’s the easiest way to connect to WiFi. With google assist it works pretty smooth. Good price comparison to other sockets as well.

I bought a few of these and besides a little bit of a delay, it works well.

I purchased 2. Use Alexa as the voice command to control them on and off. One is used for my lamp in the bedroom room, and was added to the routine that it will be on at every 7 pm and off at 6am next morning. another one was used on my portable AC in the study room. I can let AC run and cool the room 1 hour before i reach home. they are super convenient. the only suggestion is to lower the price further, so i can buy more on other appliances and devices.
