It's very easy to use, it works perfect with alexa and I'm able to turn my lamp from my phone or through alexa while I'm away from home.

If you're new to smart devices, TP-Link offers a number of devices that don't require an extra hub. This mini plug makes it easy to turn devices on and off from your phone even when you're away from home. It's size allows you to also use the second outlet so that you're not forced to use two outlets for one device. TP-Link products seem well built and work well and this mini plug is no exception. Plus they are often found on sale!

I wanted to find a way to setup my smart home in order to provide safety and security for my family and to take advantage of Alexa, but I was a bit hesitant at first. I decided to go with this device as the setup seemed pretty straightforward. I installed the Kaza application and found the discovery and configuration of the switch was a breeze. After playing with it to see what I could do, I went back and bought 3 more switches and will be getting a couple more soon. Very happy with how well this device works.

Bought this, took a minute to figure out how to connect it to Alexa, but everything works. It works with Alexa, even tho there were a few days before Christmas that it stopped working, wether it was between Amazon or TP-Link, I don't know, but they fixed it. Also, the control panel for the phone works with this product as well, so you don't even need to use alexa.

We purchased a smart wifi plug with an Amazon Echo and are currently using it with our Christmas tree. All we do is say "Alexa, turn on the Christmas tree" and on it goes. No more crawling around the tree to plug it in. Love it!

Nice to have a simple outlet extension to plug in a resource for Echo.

I bought this TP link Switch with an Echo Dot for a Great price during the holidays. Shipped fast & looks awesome! Bought for a gift so can't say how it works but I don't anticipate any issues since it's New in box. Recommend !!

Pluged it in. Alexa saw it right off. Plugged in our Christmas tree and it worked the first time and everytime useing Alexa.

The Kaza app is better and easier to set up than the app for the Wemo Mini. But the reason for 5 Stars, is that the TP Link recovers from a power outage and re-connects with my wireless router. The Wemo mini I had purchased could not recover Wi-Fi, as reported by many users on their support site. Even the replacement they sent me did not reconnect. So it was basically dead after a power outage. So far the TP Link has worked fine. Not tested with Echo or Google, only Kaza app over the Internet.

These are smart plugs awesome! We have ours on schedule so our living room lamp comes on every day at a certain time and then goes of by 10pm so that if we are out no one knows that we’re not home. I bought several when they were on sale and gave as gifts. Awesome for gifts as well. If you want to go up stairs and then take it off before the time you can do so from the your phone, which is nice!
