This is a great price and easy to install. I would recommend even to a beginner setting up a first time smart home

This is the most convenient little gadget. I should've purchase a dozen at the price I bought this for cause I don't see it at this price anymore. I had my Christmas tree plugged into it and connected thru alexa. It's great to just talk and it's on, the app works great when away from home. Now I have a lamp that stays on at night plugged into it. I love this smart plug and plan on buying some more.

I have a tall pole/reading lamp that I had sitting next to my recliner so I could reach the switch. Now however I am able to place the lamp exactly where I want it, which is in the corner behind the reclinder which works better for reading. Having this smart wi-fi plug makes it easy to use the phone app KASI to turn the light on an off not just when I am in the room, but able to from my bedroom if I choose to do so. I was fortunate to get this on sale and will buy others when they go on sale again.

Integrates well with Alexa and my other devices. It’s a great product for the price!

I have two other full-sized smart plugs from TP-Link - Kasa. They have worked well, so when I needed another one, I bought this one. It would seem that none of the smart plugs have glowing ratings, so I was a little apprehensive. However, for this plug, I simply had to add it in my existing Kasa app (iOS), it upgraded its firmware, and I was in business. I then added it to Google Home with no problems and have been using it ever since with my Google Mini.

Works pretty well. I’d buy another one. I recommended to a friend.

I use this for my floor lamp. I needed this because my lazy self sometimes didn't feel like getting up to turn the switch on and off. Works awesome... I use my phone app to control the on and off switch on the light, and sometimes my google assistance on my phone with my voice ... works perfectly fine for me.. only issue I have is that you do need to have your phone with you... and the app takes a little long to load up... where it would be much faster just hitting the switch if you're already up and going into a dark room. If you already own an Alexa you should be good.. I don't own one though. You can also control the light from ANYWHERE. I test it out 2 miles away.. and it worked. Does a lot more too.. where you can schedule it to turn on or off.... etc

You dont think you’ll need one until you’re setup. Now i have plugs for all rooms and lighting. If you have a multi story home, or kids and you only are limited to two hands while needing to juggle an extra trip up and down the stairs, this will save you the time and the energy. It’s ok, exercise is for the treadmill. Use the same smart plug to pair with your alexa or google home.

I purchased the TP-LInk smart plug to replace the Wemo. I was pleasantly surprised that there were no connectivity issues like the ones I experience with the Wemo plug. I have been using the TP-Link for almost two weeks and have not had to go through the discovery process in the Alexa app in order to reconnect them. The Wemo lost its connectivity at least once a day and is the reason they were returned. Also I found the connection process with the TP -LInk easier then the Wemo.

This plug makes home automation more flexible and definitely more friendly on the wallet then purchasing individual bulbs for all of my lamps. I'm so glad I bought 4 to get my project started, they have been invaluable!
